The Boston College Eagles play collegiate basketball for Boston College in Chestnut Hill, <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/regions/boston">Massachusetts</a>. After spending time in the Big East, the squad moved to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in 2005. 

There have been 18 appearances by the Eagles in the NCAA Tournament, the most recent being in 2009. Since 1988, home games have been held at the Conte Forum. Earl Grant is presently coaching the Eagles. Earl Grant, a former head coach at the College of Charleston, was formally hired by Boston College to replace interim head coach Scott Spinelli on March 15, 2021.

Boston College was chosen last in the ACC preseason poll due to the coaching turnover and the departure of scoring leaders Jay Heath and CJ Felder to the transfer portal. 

James Karnik led the Eagles with 17 points and 13 rebounds in a 73-57 home victory over Notre Dame in their Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) opening. The Eagles started the season with a 5-3 record.

With an ACC regular season record of 6-14, the Eagles were placed thirteenth heading into the postseason. Through their first-round victory over No.12 Pitt, the Eagles became just the second club ranked thirteenth to make it to the ACC tournament quarterfinals. 

They also became the first team to win two games in the tournament since the 2018 season after defeating #5 Wake Forest in overtime by a score of 82-77.

Clemson University's Clemson Tigers is the men's basketball team of Clemson University, which represents the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The Tigers have enjoyed a competitive spirit of late. Fans at Littlejohn Coliseum generate an electric atmosphere for their team to play their home games.

In the past two years, the Tigers have been on the move. They finished 23-11 with a 14-6 mark in the ACC in 2022-23, good enough for a third-place finish. While barely failing to make the NCAA Tournament, the team played its way to the NIT quarterfinals, revealing toughness and promise.

Clemson has developed a roster with skilled players and plenty of promise, led by head coach Brad Brownell, who will be in his sixth year with the program. The Tigers emphasize defense and have a team-oriented style of play, which fans enjoy and will look to continue their success.

The Duke Blue Devils participate as a member of the ACC in NCAA Division I collegiate basketball on behalf of Duke University. Currently led by Jon Scheyer, the squad has the fourth-most victories of any NCAA men's basketball program. The first player from Duke to win National Player of the Year was Dick Groat in 1952. 1953, Duke moved from the Southern Conference to the ACC as a founding member.

Many consider Duke-North Carolina the greatest rivalry in college basketball and one of the best in all North American sports. The first time these two schools faced each other in the NCAA Tournament was in the 2022 Final Four. The Tar Heels won that game over the Blue Devils 81-77. After Krzyzewski stepped down as head coach of Duke on June 2, 2022, Scheyer was promoted to that position. On March 11, 2023, he made history by being the first person to win the ACC Tournament as a player and a coach. The Blue Devils' 200-season run in the AP Top 25 (from 1996-2007) ranks third all-time, behind the 231-year run by Kansas (from 2009-2020) and the 21-year run by UCLA (1966-1980).

The Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team plays basketball for Florida State University, which is sometimes written as Florida State or FSU. Division I of the NCAA and the Atlantic Coast Conference are two leagues in which the Seminoles participate.

The Seminoles' basketball team has seen some success despite playing in the shadow of the football team for a long time. Florida State has made eighteen different NCAA tournament appearances.

They advanced to the finals, where they came in second place. In 2020, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida State Legislature "declared" Florida State the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Champions despite the no. 4 AP Poll and no. 5 Coaches Poll rankings.

There have been 36 former FSU players who went on to play in the NBA, 26 inducted into the Hall of Fame, and 23 named All-Americans. Jeff Sagarin and ESPN rated the program 74th in the collegiate basketball all-time rankings in the 'ESPN Collegiate Basketball Encyclopedia.'

The Center is where the Seminoles host their home games. Leonard Hamilton is now in his twenty-first year as head coach of the men's basketball team. Leonard Hamilton, the seventh head basketball coach at Florida State, took over on March 19, 2002. Tim Pickett was named to the First Team All-ACC and All-American Honorable Mention after scoring 1,039 points in just two years.

The men's basketball team from Georgia Tech, known as the Yellow Jackets, competes at the NCAA Division I level. Under Damon Stoudamire's direction, the squad now plays its home games at McCamish Pavilion on the Atlanta campus. Under Bobby Cremins's direction, Georgia Tech won its first ever ACC tournament in 1985 and made its first ever <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Four</a> berth in 1990.

Before joining the Atlantic Coast Conference as its eighth member in 1978 (with games beginning in 1979), Georgia Tech was a charter member of the Metro Conference from 1975 to 1976. This Yellow Jackets team has won four Atlantic Coast Conference tournament titles and been named the conference's top seed twice as of the 2020–21 season. Seven of Georgia Tech's teams have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen, while the school has received seventeen berths in the NCAA tournament as of 2021.

The Yellow Jackets have featured several well-known and gifted athletes. Jarrett Jack was named to the 2005 Basketball Times All-South team, while Dennis Scott was named the ACC Player of the Year and the National Player of the Year in 1990. In the official team media guides, one of the Yellow Jackets' fictional players, George P. Burdell, has won three letters (1956–58). Burdell is an everlasting Tech student.

The group went all in on the 2022–23 season — it was one of the worst seasons in program history, as the Cardinals went 4–28, coached by head coach Kenny Payne. Payne was fired in March 2024. Pat Kelsey was appointed as the new head coach, bringing new perspectives about the team.

Things are looking better for the 2024–2025 season. The Cardinals upset No. 14 Indiana 89–61 in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Senior guard Chucky Hepburn played one of his best games yet in his young career, tallying a career-first double-double with 16 points, 10 assists, and seven steals.

The University of Miami's Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team has brought much activity and competitiveness to college basketball. The Hurricanes are known for their speed and agility and play their home games as members of the ACC, playing some of the best college teams in the nation.

Under Coach Larranaga's leadership, the Hurricanes have continued to improve with more play and education in the ongoing seasons. Larranaga's leadership has been critical in building a balanced team on offense and defense. Recently, the Hurricanes elevated their profile among the ACC by winning important games in 2022 and 2023.

The Hurricanes want to make the most of their success and are looking ahead. Though the team is rife with talented veterans and dynamic freshmen, they are working on bringing their collective skill sets up a notch and bringing their competitive edge higher. Referred to as one of college basketball's best teams in the last two years, the Hurricanes' fans are patiently waiting for the upcoming season to begin and pray that the team will continue to rise and have a more successful season later on.

The North Carolina State University Wolfpack men's basketball team has had quite the turnaround in the last two years. Led by first-year head coach Kevin Keatts, the team has shown a lot of grit as it grows as a team and makes some waves in its systems.

The Wolfpack won the 2023–24 ACC Tournament as the tenth seed, the lowest seed to win the tournament. The victory gave them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, where they reached the Sweet 16—their deepest trip in decades. D.J. Burns Jr. and DJ Horne were key players in Clemson's success, and Burns Jr. received tournament MVP honors.

Continuing on this momentum, the Wolfpack has continued to thrive in the 2024–25 season. The team has also added new talent by bringing in transfers and first-year students. As of December 4, NC State has a 5–2 record and is hosting the Texas Longhorns for the ACC/SEC Challenge. Although Mike James was out for the short term with knee surgery, the Wolfpack isn't ready to relinquish their foothold among the ACC's elite.

In collegiate basketball, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is represented by the men's team known as the Tar Heels. There have been twenty-one <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Four</a> appearances by the Tar Heels, and they have won a record seven NCAA titles (1957, 1982, 1993, 2005, 2009, and 2017) and one retroactive title from the Helms Athletic Foundation (1924). 

While averaging more wins per season played (20.7) than any other program in college basketball, this university is the only one to have made at least one Final Four in the last nine decades (no other school has done so in more than seven straight). 

In the 100+ years and change between the Tar Heels' inaugural season in 1910–11 and the beginning of the 2021–22 season, the team has won 2,294 games and lost 829 games, for a winning percentage of.735. Between the 1970–1971 and 2000–2001 seasons, the Tar Heels set a record with 31 straight winning seasons.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Men's Basketball team represents the University of Notre Dame in Indiana in the U.S. Division I Atlantic Coast Conference is the league in which the squad plays. The Fighting Irish announced their intention to transfer to the Atlantic Coast Conference on September 12, 2012, and officially became league members on July 1, 2013.

The school's basketball program has been honored with two national titles, one in 1927 (19-1 total record) and the other in 1936 (22-2-1 overall record), both of which were granted retrospectively by the Helms Foundation. As for their tournament participation, they ranked 9th all-time with 36 appearances and made it to the Final Four in 1978.

The Edmund P. Joyce Center's <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/purcell-pavilion-at-the-joyce-center">Purcell Pavilion</a> is the Fighting Irish's home field. Since 1968, they relocated to the Purcell Pavilion; the Fighting Irish have had 44 winning seasons, including five home undefeated seasons and only four losing seasons.

The Irish hold the record among the five teams—Illinois, <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/texas-longhorns-mens-basketball">Texas</a>, Temple, and the Irish—with 30 or more Tournament appearances without a title, and three teams—Texas and Temple—with more than 30 appearances without the championship or a championship game appearance.

The University of Pittsburgh (or "Pitt") men's basketball team competes in NCAA Division I as a collegiate school based in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/pittsburgh">Pittsburgh</a>, Pennsylvania. The Petersen Events Center is the Pitt men's basketball team's home court, which participates in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). 

Three organizations—the Premo-Porretta Power Poll, the Helms Athletic Foundation, and the NCAA tournament—recognized the Panthers as national champions before the event. From their first season in 1905–06 to 2022–23, Pitt has 1,674 wins and 1,232 defeats, one Final Four appearance, fifteen First Team All-American selections, and participation in twenty-seven NCAA tournaments. 

The Helms Athletic Foundation and the general public acknowledged the 1927–28 and 1929–30 Pitt men's basketball teams as national champions. During the 1927–28 season, these "Doc" Carlson teams, coached by Charley Hyatt—a three-time All-American and two-time National Scoring Champion—participated in a "national" schedule. Pitt renewed Dixon's contract for another two years on March 31, 2010, extending his tenure as head coach of the Pitt Panthers until the 2017–18 season. On March 23, 2013, Dixon extended his contract once more. The 2022–2023 season was the duration of this prolongation.

The Syracuse Orange men's basketball program is Syracuse University's college team. The NCAA ranks the program in Division I, and the squad participates in the ACC. Syracuse University's men's basketball team is widely recognized as among the best in the country. The Orange have finished as national runners-up on two separate occasions and have won the national title three times.

The JMA Wireless Dome, or simply the JMA Dome, is the home field for the Orange. With a capacity of 35,642, the JMA Wireless Dome is the largest venue in Division I college basketball. Since the inauguration of the Carrier Dome in 1980, Syracuse has had the most overall home court attendance 25 times and the highest average home court attendance for a season 14 times.

On January 14, 2019, Syracuse defeated <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/duke-blue-devils-mens-basketball">Duke</a>, the AP's top-ranked team. It happened in a home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, and the team ended up becoming the first team to do so. The first round of the NCAA tournament would see them fall to Baylor. 

In the 2019-20 season, they got off to a rough start as they lost 48-34 against Virginia. This was the lowest point total recorded by a Boeheim-coached squad.

In the 2020-21 season, SU would once again pull off an upset to reach the Sweet 16, this time by defeating the No. 3 seed, West Virginia, before succumbing to the eventual runner-up, <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/houston">Houston</a>.

Syracuse Orange Mens Basketball

The University of Virginia's men's basketball program competes on an intercollegiate level as the Virginia Cavaliers. This institution is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Three ACC tournament championships, one NCAA championship, and two NITs have all gone to Virginia. Tony Bennett is the head coach, and the on-campus <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/john-paul-jones-arena">John Paul Jones Arena</a>, completed in 2006 and can hold 14,623 spectators, is where the club plays its home games.

In 2019, Virginia became the first team to win the NCAA Championship. In 1981, they also won the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Four</a> game for third place. Since 1980, the Cavaliers have had seven first-seeded teams in the NCAA tournament and have been ranked in the top five in the Associated Press poll more than a hundred times. Only two NCAA programs—Virginia and Duke—have been seeded first in each of the four regions of the NCAA Tournament.

Since then, the squad has amassed 11 ACC championships, good for third all-time. From 2012 to 2019, four of the five ACC teams that went 16-2 or better in conference play were from Virginia. Virginia holds the record for the longest ongoing streak among active ACC programs, with 12 consecutive winning seasons as of 2023.

The Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team plays in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is a Division I team in the NCAA. Their home games are held at <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/cassell-coliseum">Cassell Coliseum</a> in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The inaugural intercollegiate basketball game for the Hokies was against Emory & Henry College on January 22, 1909, and they won 33–26. With an 11-0 record in the 1909–10 season, the Hokies became the first school in history to go unbeaten.

The most recent of the Hokies' thirteen appearances in the NCAA tournament was in 2022. The Hokies have already made five consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament, thanks to the 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament being canceled because of the pandemic. They made it to the quarterfinals in 1967 and again this year. Once, in 1967, they made it to the Elite Eight.

In addition to its 2022 ACC Tournament triumph, 1979 Metro Conference title, 1959-60 Southern Conference regular season championship, and 1973 and 1995 NIT titles, the Hokies also won the Southern Conference regular season in 1959-60.

The Hokies won the first-ever ACC tournament championship under Young's coaching on March 12, 2022. Regular season winner Duke lost to Tech 82–67. Mike Krzyzewski made it to the title game for the 22nd time, and it was his last appearance in an ACC tournament. 

Tech has never competed in the championship before. They defeated Clemson in overtime, Notre Dame (the second seed), and North Carolina (the third seed) to go to the championship game.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball team plays in the ACC and is part of Wake Forest University's NCAA Division I basketball program. The 1962 season was Wake Forest's Final Four season. This program has produced NBA players like Hall of Famer Tim Duncan, 12× All-Star Chris Paul, 1× All-Star Jeff Teague, Sixth Man of the Year Rodney Rogers, and 1× All-Star Josh Howard. 

The Demon Deacons triumphed in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament on four separate occasions in 1961, 1962, 1995, and 1996. With their most recent appearance in 2017, Wake Forest has made 23 appearances in NCAA tournaments. Steve Forbes was hired on April 30, 2020, and is now the coach.

Wake Forest announced Danny Manning's employment on April 8, 2014. The Demon Deacons' 13-19 overall record and 5-13 ACC record were disappointing, considering the high expectations going into his debut season. Virginia Tech would eliminate them from the ACC tournament in the opening round.

On March 8, Virginia Tech defeated Wake Forest in the second round of the 2017 ACC Tournament. Additionally, the squad was invited to the NCAA Tournament. Wake Forest was 10th in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 19-14 overall record and a 9-9 record in conference play. After six years with the club, Manning was fired as head coach following the 2019–20 season. Wake Forest's next head coach, Steve Forbes, was announced on April 30, 2020.

The Fighting Illini men's basketball team of the University of Illinois is bracing itself for the 2024–25 season with a solid record of 6–1 so far. This year is the eighth under head coach Brad Underwood, and the team is showing experience with experienced players blended with promising newcomers.

Suppose freshman forward Will Riley wasn't getting attention for scoring 31 points in an impressive debut against Eastern Illinois, which scored just 34. In that case, he was making a splash by acknowledging the cheers of the Stateline's fans. Even his standout performance has already caught attention, and many say he will be a key player this season. Point guard Kasparas Jakucionis has been another freshman to impress, averaging 9 points and 7.7 assists per game. The team benefits from his thriving ability to facilitate the offense and his maturity on the court.

They've already played some tough competition and blew out (No. 19) Arkansas. However, they also lost a very challenging game against No. 8 <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/alabama">Alabama</a>. The team has one more game before Big Ten play against Northwestern and <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/wisconsin">Wisconsin</a>. The Fighting Illini have a strong foundation and are reaching out to key first-year students to prepare for a competitive season.

The Indiana men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I representative for Indiana University Bloomington. It is also a member of the Big Ten Conference. Indiana plays their home games at <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/venues/simon-skjodt-assembly-hall">Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall</a>. The home venue is on the IU Bloomington campus's Branch McCracken Court in Bloomington, Indiana. 

Under coaches Branch McCracken and Bob Knight, Indiana men's basketball has won five NCAA titles (1940, 1953, 1976, 1981, 1987). Indiana's 1976 team has been the last unbeaten national men's college basketball champion.
 
The Hoosiers are ranked No. 6 in total NCAA Tournament appearances, No. 7 in NCAA Tournament wins, No. 8 in Final Four appearances, and 10th in overall wins. The Hoosiers' 22 Big Ten titles are second only to Purdue's 33 in league history.
 
A 2019 analysis shows Indiana's college basketball team is the sixth most valued in the USA. Since the opening of Assembly Hall in 1972, Indiana Hoosiers have finished in the top 20 in the country for men's basketball attendance every season and frequently in the top five.
 
At the end of the regular season in '22–'23, the Hoosiers were rated No. 19 by the Associated Press. The squad ranked in the top 25 for 16 consecutive weeks. With a 21-10 overall record, 12-8 in Big Ten play, and the third seed in the Big Ten Conference tournament, the Hoosiers tied for second place in the Big Ten Conference. Indiana University made it to the quarterfinals but ultimately fell to Penn State in a nail-biter.

The Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team is one of the teams that the University of Iowa runs officially. The Hawkeyes have finished 29th in NCAA tournament play, 8th in the National Invitation Tournament, 3rd in Big Ten tournament play, and 8th in Big Ten regular season conference titles.

The basketball program at Iowa saw a revival in the 1980s and 1990s, thanks to Lute Olson, George Raveling, and Tom Davis. During this time, the Hawkeyes enjoyed widespread success. Olson guided the Hawkeyes to their final Big Ten regular season title and a trip to the Final Four in 1980.

Along with the Iowa women's basketball, wrestling, and volleyball teams, they presently play in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/carver-hawkeye-arena">Carver-Hawkeye Arena</a>, which has 15,400 seats.

The Hawkeyes' practice facilities before the 1983 opening of Carver-Hawkeye Arena were the Iowa Armory and the Iowa Field House, which are currently in use by the school's gymnastics teams. Before their 2006 loss to in-state rival Northern Iowa, the Hawkeyes had amassed a school-record 21 home victories.

With victories against rival Iowa State (84-68) and 12th-ranked Texas Tech (72-61) among their 9-2 non-conference record in 2019–20, Iowa finished the season strong. The Iowa Hawkeyes were captained by the play of star center Luka Garza, who received many honors with his 23.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game average.

With a 20-11 record and conference victories over #12 Maryland (67-49), Garza would go on to win the Big Ten Player of the Year, the Sporting News Men's College Basketball Player of the Year, the Pete Newell Big Man Award, the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, and consensus All-American honors throughout his time as a Hawkeye.

The men's basketball team from the University of Maryland, known as the Maryland Terrapins, competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. In 2014, Maryland, a founding member of the ACC, decided to join the Big Ten Conference instead of the ACC. 

The Terrapins' most successful run came under the direction of Gary Williams, who coached from 1989 to 2011. Under Williams's watch, the program reached the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Four</a> in 2001 and 2002, and in 2002, they won the NCAA National Championship. Thirty NCAA tournament appearances and four conference titles are Maryland's to brag about. 

Until the 2022–23 season, the Terrapins had played in 100 seasons, with an overall record of 1,641–1,086. At the moment, Kevin Willard is coaching the Terrapins. Kevin Willard was hired as the eighth head coach in Maryland program history on March 21, 2022. Willard wasted no time acquiring Jahmir Young, a highly regarded transfer prospect from <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/charlotte">Charlotte</a>, through the portal in preparation for the forthcoming season. 

Under Young's direction, the Terrapins went 20-11 and won the Hall of Fame Tip-Off. Maryland, which was placed eighth in the NCAA Tournament, upset West Virginia, which was seeded ninth in the first round.

Michigan State Spartans men's basketball is the basketball program of Michigan State University; in NCAA Division I college basketball representing Michigan State on the men's basketball circuit in the Big Ten Conference. The Spartans are coached by Tom Izzo – a Hall of Famer and one of the best coaches and leaders around – and have earned a reputation for being tough, playing hard, and showing up every season in the NCAA tournament (who can forget they won the national championship in 2000?).

This was a Big Ten environment where you must go out and battle every week because even in the 2021 season, Michigan State had a tough run. The rebuilding and growing was a season, and the team worked hard to grow younger players and integrate them into Izzo's system. They kept grinding through the highs and lows, proving they could significantly improve and ultimately showing what Izzo says he coaches — hard work and toughness.

For the 2022 season, the Spartans were looking to pick up where they left off last year with a tougher, more experienced lineup. Both teams concentrated on their ability to defend and execute offensively, two things Izzo spoke about often when speaking about how to be successful. The team's Big Ten schedule was rough as it tried to keep competitiveness high and place itself high in the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments. Since Izzo took over, Michigan State has not been complacent about its tradition of basketball excellence but has always been in search of more accomplishments.

Regarding men's collegiate basketball, the University of Michigan is represented by the Michigan Wolverines. Located in Division I of the NCAA, the school plays its games in the Big Ten Conference. The Wolverines' <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/crisler-center">Crisler Center</a> hosts home basketball games in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to two NITs, fifteen Big Ten Conference championships, and two Big Ten tournament titles, Michigan has won one NCAA championship and one Big Ten tournament.

Their giant, their biggest player, Edey, looks like a gigantic man who can throw basketballs into the hoop almost however he pleases! Other players are tiny next to him; he's so tall. They look brave and strong in cool black and gold colors like that. This is where they play, in a big place called Mackey Arena, where when you go there are lots of people watching you and having fun.

They work together like a big family, which makes the Boilermakers special. And they practice every day to do it better and better. They win sometimes or learn something from losing sometimes. But they never give up! Everyone loves them; their fans love them so much that they wear their team colors daily. It's a big party with everyone in high spirits, excited, happy when the Boilermakers play basketball. But they show everyone they can make great things happen if you work hard and play with each other!

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights men's basketball team plays in the Big Ten Conference and is part of Rutgers University's NCAA Division I basketball program. The 2020-21 Wisconsin Badgers season ended with an 18-13 overall record and a 10-10 mark in Big Ten play. As the sixth seed in the Big Ten tournament, they opened with Penn State. They won the game in overtime, 75-74, and will now meet Iowa in the quarterfinals. A score of 57-62 defeated them. They were a No. 9 seed in the NCAA tournament. They won their first game against North Carolina, 85–62. They fell 63-76 in the second round against Baylor, who became the 2021 tournament champions.

Wisconsin won at least a part of the Big Ten regular season title in 2021-22 after defeating Purdue 70-67. This was Wisconsin's 20th regular season Big Ten title, tying <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ohio-state-buckeyes-mens-basketball">Ohio State</a> for third all-time behind Purdue and Indiana. In many years, this was their second regular season championship in the Big Ten.

American West

The Baylor Bears are a men's basketball team from Waco, Texas that competes in NCAA Division I games. Among the Big 12 teams is the Bears. Scott Drew is the head coach at the moment, and the team's home arena is <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/ferrell-center">Ferrell Center</a>.

When Baylor's inaugural basketball team played in 1907, Luther Burleson was the head coach for both the basketball and football teams. During the 1908–09 basketball season, Baylor's crosstown foe TCU launched their program, which the Bears dispatched twice.

In 2021, the Bears, aided by soon-to-be consensus All-American Jared Butler, went undefeated in their five-game tournament run, defeating Hartford, Wisconsin, Villanova, and Arkansas. They advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 1950, where they lost to the in-state Houston Cougars. 

Baylor then went on to win their first NCAA championship, defeating <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/gonzaga-bulldogs-mens-basketball">Gonzaga</a> while destroying Gonzaga's perfect season.

Brigham Young University's men's basketball team competes in NCAA Division I basketball games. They are known as the BYU Cougars. Because it was founded in 1902, the squad has participated in 29 NCAA tournaments and has won 27 conference titles, three conference tournament championships, and two National Invitational Tournaments (1951 and 1966).

This organization is presently a member of the Big 12 Conference. Initially, the team participated in the Mountain West Conference from 1999 to 2011; then, they competed in the West Coast Conference for twelve seasons. 

After receiving unanimous approval from the Big 12 Conference on September 10, 2021, BYU's application for membership was accepted, and the university became an official conference member for the 2023–24 season.

Pope made significant changes to the club throughout the offseason, even though it was anticipated that the 2020–21 season would be a rebuilding year because Childs, Haws, and Toolson would be graduating.

Alongside Alex Barcello, a senior guard who was returning to the team, graduate transfers Brandon Averette and Matt Haarms were also present. Cincinnati Bearcats Mens Basketball

The men's basketball team at the University of Houston in NCAA Division I basketball has a proud history. The Cougars are known for their high-energy play, strong defense, and many conference crowns, making many tournament appearances. College basketball has been kind to them in that they have been perennial top contenders and on notice in the national spotlight.

The Cougars — under Coach Kelvin Sampson — emerged from the 2022-2023 season as defensive beasts and recorded wins to the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-basketball-tournament">Sweet 16</a> in the NCAA tournament. The team was operating with a disciplined approach and teamwork, which made any contender for victory work very hard. Be like Marcus Sasser or Jamal Shead if you want to stand out.

The team has adapted to changes, including losing key pieces to the NBA for the 2023-2024 season. These challenges notwithstanding, though, the Cougars are still putting together a competitive roster with a curious blend of veterans and up-and-comers. For being awesome at what they do, they never leave college basketball.

Houston Cougars Mens Basketball

The Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team, playing out of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, has come a long way two seasons in. The Cyclones were 19–14 under head coach T.J. Otzelberger, including 9–9 in Big 12 games last season. They won enough to earn an at-large spot in the NCAA Tournament, but their stay ended in the first round against Pittsburgh.

On top of this foundation, the 2023-24 season saw a big turnaround. Cyclones went 27–7 overall and 13–5 in conference to finish second in the Big 12. They carried that momentum into the Big 12 Tournament title game, winning by a dominant 69–41 score, the largest margin in tournament history, with a win over top-seeded Houston. Tied for the Big 12 regular season title, Iowa State entered the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed before being defeated by Illinois 72–69 during the Sweet Sixteen to be eliminated.

The Cyclones also began the current 2024–25 season well, with a 5–1 record. Standouts include a 99–71 win against Colorado, in which freshman Milan Momcilovic scored 24 points. As Iowa State has been doing for the past—well, the past it's been—they'd like to keep carrying that success into this season and becoming stronger as a basketball team.

The Kansas Jayhawks are the university's senior men's basketball team, competing in NCAA Division I. This Division I NCAA program plays in the Big 12 Conference. With a total of six national championships (4 NCAA Tournament national championships and 2 Helms national championships), six runner-up finishes, and the most conference titles in collegiate basketball history, the University of <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/regions/kansas-city">Kansas</a> men's basketball team is widely regarded as one of the best in the country.
 
Kansas set a new NCAA record by winning 14 straight regular-season conference titles between 2005 and 2018. From the poll issued on February 2, 2009, until the survey released on February 8, 2021, the Jayhawks were ranked in every one of those polls, a record-setting 231 in a row. Kansas has won at least a share of the regular-season conference title 19 times in the Big 12's 24 years of existence.
 
Kansas signed a lifetime deal on April 2, 2021. Until he retires or passes away, the contract will be extended by one year for each year he serves as a coach.
 
In the 2022 NCAA tournament, the 2021-22 squad was the top seed. They won the tournament by beating Providence, making them the winningest program in the country. With the 72-69 victory over North Carolina in the final game, the Jayhawks won their fourth <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">NCAA title</a> and Self's second title as coach. They were behind by 16 points in the finals, the biggest comeback in NCAA title game history, and ultimately won.

The Kansas State Wildcats, a men's basketball team, represents Kansas State University. Being a part of the Big 12 Conference, the program is categorized as NCAA Division I. Coach Jerome Tang is currently in charge of the team.

Competition for the program started in 1902. In 1917 and 1919, the school's men's basketball team won the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship, the first major conference win for the institution. Afterward, Kansas State won 19 regular-season conference titles.

With their most recent appearance in 2023, <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/kansas-city">Kansas</a> State University has made 32 appearances in NCAA basketball tournaments. The squad had an NCAA tournament record of 39-35 (.527) overall. The 1951 tournament was Kansas State's finest showing, but Kentucky defeated them in the finals. 

There have been 36 All-Americans, 19 conference regular-season winners, and nine conference tournament champions from Kansas State. It is one of the top 25 programs in the country.  According to the ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia, the program was ranked 27th all-time by Jeff Sagarin. The Wildcats' record is 1,717-1,222 as of the 2022-23 season.

Missouri has played 237 games against Kansas State since 1907, making them the second-most-played foe of the 2022-23 season. The score is 121-116 in favor of Kansas State. Before Missouri joined the Southeastern Conference in 2011–2012, this was the final regular season in which the teams played each other.

The Oklahoma Sooners men's basketball team plays NCAA Division I basketball for the University of Oklahoma. Oklahoma State is a member of the Big 12 Conference. The men's basketball team of the Oklahoma Sooners has enjoyed some success over the past few decades despite spending most of its existence in the shadow of the football team.

The squad has more NCAA tournament victories than any other sans a title, and they have been to five Final Fours. Along with Wayman Tisdale, Stacey King, Harvey Grant, Mookie Blaylock, Ryan Minor, Hollis Price, and Blake Griffin, the program has produced several All-Americans.

Before the 2011–12 season, Oklahoma University recruited Lon Kruger to succeed Jeff Capel as head coach. <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/kansas-state-wildcats-mens-basketball">Kansas State</a>, Florida, Illinois, and UNLV were all stops in Kruger's coaching resume. The Sooners improved upon their 2010–11 season under his leadership, finishing 15–16.

With an unexpected 20-12 record (11-7 Big 12) and a fourth-place finish in 2012–13, the program received its first invitation to the NCAA tournament since 2009, when Blake Griffin guided the school to the Elite 8. The Sooners, nevertheless, lost to San Diego State in the NCAA tournament's second round.

On March 25, 2021, Kruger announced his retirement from coaching. The men's basketball team from Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA, known as the Oklahoma State Cowboys, competes in NCAA Division I games. Cowgirls is the name given to the school's women's athletic teams. Currently, the Cowboys play their home games in the Big 12 Conference. While other institutions like <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/oklahoma">Oklahoma</a> and Texas were ranked higher, CBS Sports placed Oklahoma State at number 25 all-time for college basketball. 

Among Big 12 programs, only Kansas can match Oklahoma State's record of men's basketball success, which includes more national titles and more trips to the NCAA Championship, Final Four, Elite Eight, and Sweet Sixteen. With 23 conference championships (including regular season and tournament play), Oklahoma State has more than any other Oklahoma program.

The team's home field has been Gallagher-Iba Arena since 1938. Teams used to be called the Aggies while the school was still known as Oklahoma A&M College, which was in use until 1957. After Travis Ford was fired as head coach at Oklahoma State, Brad Underwood was hired to replace him on March 21, 2016. Underwood departed the program for Illinois on March 18, 2017, just over a year after it began. March 24 saw the promotion of assistant coach Mike Boynton to head coach.

In men's NCAA Division I basketball, the TCU Horned Frogs represent Texas Christian University in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/dallas">Fort Worth</a>, Texas. Since 2016, Jamie Dixon, a TCU Lettermen's Hall of Fame member, has coached the Horned Frogs. Before joining the Big 12 in 2012, TCU was a member of the Mountain West from 2005 to 2012, Conference USA from 2001 to 2005, the Western Athletic Conference from 1996 to 2001, and the Southwest Conference from 1923 to 1996. 

Jamie Dixon, the current head coach at Pitt and a former letterman for the Horned Frogs, was hired by TCU as their new head basketball coach on March 21, 2016. Before becoming the 22nd head coach of TCU basketball in Fort Worth, Dixon was the head coach at Pitt for 13 years, during which time he was named national coach of the year four times and was rated ninth all-time among active Division I coaches in terms of winning percentage.

After Dixon's first season, the Horned Frogs finished 24-15 and won the NIT Championship on March 30. In 2018, the Horned Frogs finally broke a 20-year drought by earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. In 2022, TCU qualified for the NCAA tournament. For the first time in 35 years, they won an NCAA tournament game with a 69-42 victory over Seton Hall in the first round.

The University of Texas at <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/austin">Austin's</a> Texas Longhorns men's basketball team began the 2024–25 season 6–1 in the bag. This is the team's first season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) under second-year head coach Rodney Terry.

Freshman guard Tre Johnson has caught fire with 25.3 points per game and broke a Longhorns record for most points in a debut. In Texas' latest outing, Johnson scored 21 points as the Longhorns decimated Delaware State 90-68. Also impressive was Kadin Shedrick, who had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Longhorns will look ahead to the UKG Legends Classic championship game with Syracuse. Syracuse is one of those teams that leans heavily on defense, so the matchup will certainly be a challenge for Kentucky—as it usually is. So far, Texas has a solid team and is ready to have a competitive season.

The University of Central Florida's men's basketball team is called the Knights. Near Orlando, Florida, it sits in unincorporated Orange County. UCF is a NCAA Division I member and will play in the Big 12 Conference beginning with the 2023–24 college basketball season. The Knights play their home games in the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/addition-financial-arena">Addition Financial Arena</a> on the main campus. Johnny Dawkins, who was named as their coach in 2016, leads the team.

UCF moved into its new home for the 2007-2008 season, the 10,000-capacity CFE Arena. On November 11, 2007, in front of a crowd of 4,668, the Knights played the Nevada Wolf Pack, the defending champions of the Western Athletic Conference. Record 10,011 fans saw an <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/illinois-fighting-illini-mens-basketball">Illinois Fighting Illini</a> game in the new Arena.

Six times (1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1981, and 1982), the Knights have competed in the NCAA Division II Tournament. There have been five appearances by UCF in the NCAA Division I Tournament (1994, 1996, 2004, 2005, and 2019). There have been seven regular season conference titles and five tournament titles won by UCF.

In men's collegiate basketball, West Virginia University is represented by the West Virginia Mountaineers. They compete in what is known as the Big 12 Conference. West Virginia University is a tournament powerhouse with 13 conference tournament titles and 31 NCAA tournament trips (including two <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Fours</a>, the most recent being in 2010). Furthermore, the Mountaineers have participated in sixteen National Invitation Tournaments (NITs), with victories in 1942 and 2007. Billy Hahn, an assistant coach for West Virginia, and Gary Williams, head coach of the Maryland Terrapins, revealed in May 2008 that they had proposed a home-and-home series to start following the 2008–09 season. Despite this arrangement never coming to fruition, on March 22, 2015, in the third round of the NCAA tournament, West Virginia defeated Maryland 69–59. On March 16, 2023, the Mountaineers and the Terrapins faced again in the NCAA Tournament Round of 64. This time, Maryland came out on top, 67-65.

The Hokies of Virginia Tech and West Virginia are rivals in interstate sports. Even though the rivalry is mainly about football, it extends to other collegiate sports like basketball. Blacksburg, Virginia, is home to both West Virginia University and Virginia Tech, two universities competing amid the Appalachian Mountains. Families along the border between West Virginia and Virginia often find themselves divided between opposing states.

The Arizona State Sun Devils are the men's basketball team from Arizona State University in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/phoenix">Tempe</a>, Arizona, the US. At the moment, the school's squad is playing in Pac-12 play.

The Sun Devils of Arizona State have made 17 appearances in the NCAA tournament, reaching the Sweet 16 three times (1961, 1963, 1975). In addition to seven appearances in the final AP rankings, they have won eight conference titles (four from the WAC and four from the Border Conference). 

The Sun Devils' best national ranking came in 2017–18 under Bobby Hurley and 1980–81 under Ned Wulk, when the starting lineup featured Alton Lister, Fat Lever, and future NBA great Byron Scott.

Pandemic conditions also led to canceling the 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Even though the NCAA didn't announce seedings for the postponed tournament, Joe Lunardi of ESPN's "Bracketology" at the end of the season had the Sun Devils pegged as the 9th seed.

With 16 appearances, the Sun Devils have been to the NCAA tournament. They have 14-17 records (12-16). After ASU's 1995 NCAA tournament run (two wins and a loss), the NCAA voided the team's eligibility.

The Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team of the University of Arizona is one of the most storied in NCAA Division I college basketball play in the Pac-12 Conference. The team is well known for its basketball legacy and rich nightlife history, resulting in countless Pac-12 championships and a national championship in 1997.

Earlier in the 2021 season, under a new head coach (Tommy Lloyd, an assistant at Gonzaga), the Wildcats had little problem adjusting to Lloyd's offensive tilt. They were a good team, playing a fast game and scoring effectively... they have given cause to fear in the conference.

Arizona continued to build on the previous year's momentum and is set to move into the 2022 season. With skilled players able to shine offensively and defensively, they displayed depth in their roster, hoping to be Poke high up in the Pac-12 standings and make a prominent impact on the NCAA Tournament. 

Wildcats games showed strong team play and a planning approach, something Coach Lloyd emphasized a lot in his teamwork and player development. Their consistent play kept the team in the upper echelon of college basketball and brought out rabid fans to pack the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/mckale-center">McKale Center</a> for games.

The men's basketball squad representing the University of California, Berkeley, is known as the California Golden Bears. Under coach Pete Newell, the program won the national title in 1959, and before that, in 1946 and 1960, they made it to the final four. Success has continued over the years for the program. The Levi Strauss & Co. owners helped fund extensive renovations to Haas Pavilion, formerly known as Harmon Gym, where the team plays home games.

The Bears finally won the conference in Montgomery's second year as head coach, ending a 50-year drought. The squad, which included four seniors in its starting lineup, had a winning record at Haas Pavilion but struggled in their non-conference schedule, losing to top teams like Syracuse, Ohio State, and Kansas. As a result, the squad fell from its preseason national ranking of thirteenth to thirteenth place. In Martin's inaugural season as head coach, the Bears posted a record of 18-15. Ivan Rabb, a 5-star power forward from Bishop O'Dowd High School, announced his decision to join Cal on April 13, 2015.

Martin resigned after three seasons to take over as head coach at <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/st.-louis">Missouri</a>. Wyking Jones, Martin's assistant coach, was named Cal's 17th head basketball coach shortly after. Jones coached for just two years, and in each of those years, the club finished last in the Pac-12. In 2019, Mark Fox, who had previously coached at Georgia, became the 18th head basketball coach at Cal.

California Golden Bears Mens Basketball

The Men's basketball team representing the University of Colorado Boulder is the Colorado Buffaloes. This squad plays in the Pac-12 Conference, a division one NCAA tournament. Tad Boyle is their coach at the moment. Fourteen NCAA Tournaments have been played by the Buffaloes, with two trips to the Final Four (1942 and 1955). A total of nine National Invitation Tournaments have been played by Colorado, with the state taking first place in 1940, 1991, and 2011, all reaching the semifinals.

The Buffs' Big 8 Conference tournament record was 4-20. They had their finest season in 1990 when they upset <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/oklahoma-sooners-mens-basketball">Oklahoma</a> in the conference finals after becoming the first no. 8 seed to do it. Even though they were on the losing side, Shaun Vandiver was named Tournament Most Valuable Player for their performance. The Buffaloes' record in conference tournament play during their fifteen years in the Big 12 was 9–15. 

Although they failed to secure a conference title, they may be proud of two notable accomplishments from their tenure. It all started in 2008 when the Buffs made history by defeating Baylor in the first round as the first no. 12 seed to defy a no. 5 seed. In their previous conference season, they defeated Iowa State in the first round, then defeated <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/kansas-state-wildcats-mens-basketball">Kansas State</a> for their third victory of the year. However, they were narrowly defeated in the semifinals by Kansas.

While the 2022-23 campaign showed promise, the Ducks narrowly slipped past the cut to make the NCAA Tournament, instead moving on to the NIT quarterfinals.

The Ducks are looking ahead and hoping to get back on track as a dominant force in college basketball. Oregon's lineup includes seasoned players with lots of experience and young players who have impressed in their first NCAA season. They're always a team to watch because they are committed to excellence and on the move.

The Pac-12 Conference continued to build its competitive foundation in the 2024 season, and the Oregon State Beavers Men’s Basketball did what it could, playing well with a good season overall. The Beavers are known for their tough, gritty style of play and fought hard all year before making big strides in their defense and offensive game. Oregon State had standout players in Jarod Lucas and Jordan Pope, featuring a well-balanced team using fast breaks and key three-point shooting to keep them on the right path.

In 2024, the Beavers were a major highlight, as they won a couple of nail-biters against some of the Pac 12’s best in the Pac 12 Tournament. They were praised for their ability to execute in high-pressure situations and run legs off defenders. Their hard work and teamwork earned the team an invitation to the NIT, where they made a strong run as others watching took notice of the team.

Oregon State added to its public engagement off the court by running community events and basketball clinics. In 2024, the Beavers excelled at improving and playing more tightly together in the future, looking to achieve even higher success in future seasons.

The Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team is the official basketball team of Stanford University, located in Stanford, California. The school's squad competes in the Pac-12 Conference during the season. Jerod Haase serves as their coach, and they play their home games at <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/maples-pavilion">Maples Pavilion</a>.

1914 marked the beginning of Stanford's participation in varsity intercollegiate men's basketball competition. In addition to one NCAA title, which they won in 1942, the Cardinal have won thirteen conference championships, eight of which were in the Pacific Coast Conference and five in the Pac-10. 

With a total record of 23–16, the Cardinals have participated in 17 NCAA Tournaments during their history. They won the national championship in 1942, but they did not come back until 1989, 47 years later. With a total record of 19–6, the Cardinals have participated in nine National Invitation Tournaments (NIT) during their history. They have won the National Invitational Tournament thrice (1991, 2012, and 2015).

Additionally, the Premo-Porretta Power Poll and the Helms Athletic Foundation retrospectively acknowledged Stanford as the pre-NCAA tournament national champion for the 1936–1937 season. This recognition was conferred upon Stanford. In 2014, the squad participated in the NCAA tournament for the final time.

The 2021 season was a coming-out party for the Bruins under head coach Mick Cronin as they made a run to the NCAA Tournament. UCLA was resilient, having advanced from the First Four onward, strategically deep, and had clutch performances like Johnny Juzang that you can't bet against. Sparked anew by the optimism and excitement surrounding UCLA basketball following an unexpected and inspiring journey that reframed the glory that surrounded the program when the smoke cleared and court dust settled.

That 2022 season served to build off the momentum gained in 2021, and heading into 2022, it appeared the Bruins were looking to cement themselves as a Pac-12 and top-25 power. UCLA maintained defensive tenacity as they returned some players and brought on some promising newcomers while they looked to execute on the offensive side of the ball.

The USC Trojans men's basketball team represents the University of Southern California. They play in the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/pac-12-mens-basketball-tournament">Pac-12</a> Conference of NCAA Division I. Andy Enfield is the Trojans' current head coach.

In collegiate basketball history, the Trojans from USC have a record of 1,500-1,097 (.578). With 25 All-Americans, 14 league titles, one conference tournament crown, 16 trips to the NCAA tournament, 5 Sweet Sixteens, 4 Elite Eights, and 2 Final Fours to their name, they have quite the resume. 

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has admitted Sam Barry and four of his former USC players—Jack Gardner, Alex Hannum, Tex Winter, and Bill Sharman—as coaches.

On April 1, 2013, Andy Enfield was appointed head coach at USC. He became the first head coach to take a 15-seed team to the Sweet 16 after leading the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles to upsets against Georgetown and San Diego State. 

Enfield takes over for Bob Cantu, the Trojans' interim coach, who was sacked following a 7-10 start to the season. O'Neill was the head coach until Enfield was hired. After missing the NCAA Tournament the last two years, the Trojans concluded the season with a 14-18 record.

Enfield recruited the first two assistants, Pepperdine University's Jason Hart and San Diego State University's Tony Bland. Both are well-regarded recruiters, and their deals were reportedly worth $300,000 annually.

Tony Bland, an assistant coach, was charged with wire fraud, bribery, and soliciting a bribe on September 26, 2017, according to federal authorities.

USC Trojans Mens Basketball

The men's basketball team from the University of Utah, the Utah Utes—sometimes referred to as the Runnin' Utes—is a member of the Pac-12 Conference and a Division I institution. You may find them in the Jon M. Huntsman Center on game days. The school's 29 appearances in the NCAA tournament place it 20th all-time and tie it for third most in the Western U.S., behind only UCLA and <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/arizona">Arizona</a>. 

Their 2016 tournament appearance was their last. Utah College's lone NCAA basketball title came in 1944 when the Utes defeated Dartmouth College 42-40. Having won the AAU national tournament in 1916, the school also claims the title of national champion. Additionally, they defeated Kentucky in 1947 to claim their only NIT victory. 

The Utes' journey to the 1998 NCAA championship game was a testament to their competitiveness. Despite a loss to Kentucky, the Utes put up a strong fight. The team's overall record of 21-12 and a 9-9 record in Pac-12 play in the 2013-2014 season marked a moderate return to form. The Utes' scoring improved from 64.2 points per game to 75.1 points per game after the addition of freshman guard Delon Wright and sophomore guard Brandon Taylor, with Jordan Loveridge maintaining his starting position at point guard.

The Washington Huskies men's basketball team plays NCAA Division I college basketball for the University of Washington. They are part of the Pac-12 Conference. Head coach Mike Hopkins oversees the team, and they play their home games at Seattle's Hec Edmundson Pavilion.

The Huskies' gymnastics, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball teams all call Hec Edmundson Pavilion home. The multi-use arena will operate for 94 seasons from 2020 to 21. The project was originally scheduled to be finished in December 1927.

Wilson James Commissioning refurbished the inside of Hec Edmundson Pavilion for $40 million. From March 1999 until November 2000, a total of nineteen months were devoted to the refurbishment. 

For the first part of the 2010–11 basketball season, the arena went under the name "Hec Edmundson Pavilion" again, despite the lack of sponsors." <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/alaska-airlines-arena">Alaska Airlines Arena</a> at Hec Edmundson Pavilion" was renamed to honor the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/seattle">Seattle</a>-based airline by the university on January 20, 2011.

With an 8-9 record heading into 2019, the Huskies have made nine appearances in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). The Huskies have seventeen appearances in the NCAA Tournament and a 19-18 record as of 2020.

Washington State Cougars men's basketball is the term for Washington State University's representative in NCAA Division I competition. The team competes in the Pac-12 Conference and has a hardcore fan base. For the 2023-2024 season, the team has shown growth, with stand-out players pouring in both offensively and on the offensive end of the court. The roster is filled with experienced upper-level students and some promising young talent working hard to get the team to a new level of success. They want to focus on developing their skills, working on something as a team, and making a great impact in the Pac-12 as they hope to compete in postseason tournaments.

The University of <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/alabama">Alabama's</a>Crimson Tide men's basketball team is off to a 6–1 start for the 2024–25 season. However, it is under the sixth year of head coach Nate Oats, who has a compilation of experienced players and promising newcomers.

On the opening day of its season, Alabama drubbed UNC Asheville 110–54, led by Mark Sears' 20 points. Seven players hit double figures in scoring as deep as the team was. On Tuesday, they followed that up with a 72–64 win over McNeese behind 22 points and eight rebounds from Grant Nelson. 

The Crimson Tide returned from a tough loss to No. 13 Purdue with a 100–87 win over No. 25 Illinois. Sears then led with 24 points, as they moved on to win 85–80 in overtime over No. 6 <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/houston">Houston</a> at the Players Era Festival. Alabama is continuing to gain momentum in their future games. So far, the team's performance has laid the groundwork for what looks to be an interesting season.

The cool red and white colors they wear for their team make them look brave and strong. You bet people like to come and watch them play basketball! 

And then they win big games, and everyone cheers loudly. Black and Walsh have done some great things in front of the basketball. The team plays ridiculously fast and has lots of energy! And they get fans jumping out of their seats and super pumped up because they jump, run, and play basketball with loads of athleticism. That is what makes them special; they don't quit. 

Every day of today, they practice hard to make themselves better and better at basketball. People love their team so much and will wear your team colors anywhere! It's a big party when everyone is happy and cheering when the Razorbacks are on the field. 

It's an inspiration to anyone; they show that working together and giving your best creates wonderful things. They've won many big games, making their school and nationwide fans happy. The Razorbacks play basketball, but it's not just about the game; it's also about friendship, hard work, and having fun!

Auburn University fields a men's varsity basketball team in NCAA Division I, known as the Tigers. As a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) member, the university participates in Division I collegiate athletics within the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers play their home games in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/venues/neville-arena">Neville Arena</a>, located on the Auburn University campus. The program has been running since 1906, and Bruce Pearl is the head coach at the moment.

Auburn has dominated the SEC, winning the regular season and tournament titles five times. Auburn has competed in the NCAA tournament 12 times, making it as far as the Final Four in 2019. Auburn has had 13 players named All-American and 98 players named All-SEC. There have been 35 Auburn alums in the NBA draft, the highest being Jabari Smith in 2022 at No. 3 overall. 

Charles Barkley in 1984 and Chris Porter in 1999 are the only two Auburn players to win SEC Player of the Year. Eight Tigers coaches have been chosen Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year, including 1999's unanimous selection of Cliff Ellis as the nation's top coach. Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Charles Barkley played for Auburn.

The Florida Gators men's basketball team serves the University of Florida in basketball. The Southeastern Conference is where the Gators play their college basketball games. The Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida is home to the Exactech Arena, where the university plays its home games.

The current University of Florida (UF) was established in 1906 on a new campus in Gainesville, Florida. Four earlier schools were merged into one by the Buckman Act of 1905, enacted by the Florida Legislature.

Moving into the O'Connell Center in 1980 marked the beginning of the contemporary era of Florida basketball. Florida Gym looked much older than her thirty years. Among SEC basketball programs, Florida lacked a state-of-the-art arena by the mid-1970s.

After losing David Lee to graduation and Matt Walsh and Anthony Roberson to the NBA, the 2005–06 squad shocked many by going on a 17–0 victory streak, the best start in school history, despite starting the season unranked. The roster consisted of four sophomores and one junior.

Mike White, formerly of Louisiana Tech, was appointed to coach the Gators on May 7, 2015, to replace Billy Donovan. White was an assistant coach at Ole Miss for seven years after playing point guard for the Rebels.

Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball represents the University of Georgia in the Southeastern Conference. The Bulldogs dropped their opener before taking out LaSalle in their season and tournament opener in <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/regions/las-vegas">Las Vegas</a>, defeating the Explorers 63 58. The Bulldogs are known for their determination and athleticism and they play their home games in Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia. Though the program has encountered difficulties, the past two years have demonstrated its commitment to growth and development.

Having brought in coach Mike White in 2022, the Bulldogs, in rebuilding, have shown how they will strive to reach greater heights in the fiercely competitive SEC. The 2022-23 campaign had promise, and the team went 16-16 with some wins that showed them what they could be. Under White's leadership, the club has hailed a more disciplined approach and fresh emphasis on recruiting the best talent.

However, the 2023–24 season is new for the Bulldogs, who are hoping to break into the league more than they already have. Georgia has a combination of returning players and new faces you can watch that they will play at a higher level. Combined with the passionate fan base and Bulldog's formidable commitment to improving, the team is a program to watch.

The University of Kentucky Wildcats Men's basketball team competes in the NCAA Division I as part of the American collegiate basketball league. The University of Kentucky men's basketball team has a better winning percentage (.760) and more wins than any other program in NCAA Division I history. John Calipari is the head coach of the Wildcats at the moment.

Kentucky achieved 1000 and 2000 victories before any other school in 1968 and 2009. Kentucky topped the all-time wins list from 1967 to 1990 and 1996 to 2022. Kentucky was rated second in all-time victories from 1990 to 1996 and from March 25, 2022, until October 11, 2023. Rick Stansbury, a former head coach of Michigan State, has a 21-8 record against the Rebels.  Ben Howland, the head coach before, has a 6-9 record versus the Rebels. Despite being just 90 miles apart, the Mississippi State and Alabama basketball programs are fierce rivals. Overall, the Crimson Tide have a better record (120–74).

Twelve times have the Bulldogs been a part of the NCAA tournament. Together, they have a record of 11-12. Despite the Bulldogs' qualification for the 1959 tournament, they were not allowed to compete due to the presence of African-American players. This discriminatory act did not deter the Bulldogs. Instead, it strengthened their commitment to diversity and equality. Bailey Howell's jersey number was retired by Mississippi State on February 7, 2009, at the Coliseum, a proud moment for the Bulldogs and a testament to their values.

January 7, 2016, was <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/venues/the-pavilion-at-ole-miss">The Pavilion's</a> grand opening at Ole Miss, the Rebels' new on-campus arena.

Until his retirement on February 18, 2018, Andy Kennedy commanded the Rebels for 12 years. Under the rest of the 2017–18 season, Tony Madlock, who had previously worked as an assistant under Kennedy, took over as head coach. Kermit Davis, formerly of Middle Tennessee, was introduced to the school's administration on March 19, 2018, after being appointed head coach on March 15, 2018.

With a 2001 run to the Sweet Sixteen, Ole Miss has eight appearances in the NCAA tournament. On 11 occasions, the Rebels have taken part in the NIT. They reached the National Invitation Tournament Semifinals in 2008 and 2010 at Madison Square Garden. There have been five Rebel victories in the SEC Western Division.

In his sixth season, Davis was let go on February 24, 2023, due to the team's 2-13 conference record with two games still to play. Assistant Coach Win Case was the team's temporary coach for the rest of the season.

Ole Miss Rebels Mens Basketball

The South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball team plays in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and is part of the University of South Carolina. Four times between 1927 and 1945 did the Gamecocks claim the Southern Conference crown.

In addition to sharing the 2009 SEC Eastern division title, the program won the 1997 SEC championship, the 2005 and 2006 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) crowns, and more. 

Winning the 2017 NCAA East Regional Championship was the most recent accomplishment for the Gamecocks, who made history by advancing to the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-final-four">Final Four</a>. Colonial Life Arena has 18,000 seats, and Lamont Paris is the head coach at the moment.

By defeating the <a href="https://ticketsonsale.com/sports/marquette-golden-eagles-mens-basketball">Marquette</a> Golden Eagles by 20 points on March 17, 2017, USC won their first NCAA Tournament game since 1973. The next night, the Gamecocks reached the Sweet 16 for the fourth time in their history with a victory over the Duke Blue Devils, the No. 2 seed.

The next day, South Carolina made history by beating the No. Three-seed Baylor Bears to reach their first-ever Elite 8. Two days later, they made even more history by shocking Florida to reach their first-ever Final Four. In the wake of Frank Martin's dismissal, Lamont Paris, a former head coach at Chattanooga, was named head coach on March 21, 2022.

South Carolina Gamecocks Mens Basketball

The University of Tennessee's Tennessee Vols men's basketball team has been causing stirs in college basketball. They have orange and white uniforms, bring the fans' energy and passion to the court, and play dynamically.

Over the past few years, with Coach Barnes at the helm, the Vols have moved in the right direction. Barnes, through his auxiliary, assisted defensive tactics and by improving his offense, has made it a point to create a robust defensive team. The Vols improved in this respect, as evidenced by this season when they secured several important wins that helped them rise the rankings on the tough Southeastern Conference (SEC) circuit.

If Tennessee Vols could build on the successes of the last few years, the future is bright. The team consists of experienced players and newcomers working to improve their skills and perfect their strategies. Of course, because the fans' presence is so important to the team spirit, the fans are buzzing for the 2024-2025 season and hoping their support will push the Vols to new heights in college basketball.

Tennessee Vols Mens Basketball

Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball is the men's basketball team that represents Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It competes in NCAA Division I and is a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Aggies are known for a strong defensive style and commitment to team basketball without being overly flashy, which has established them as tough competitors in one of the country's most challenging basketball conferences.

The Aggies had a tough year in 2021 – the health protocols interrupted their performance and consistency. And, of course, Michael Carwell tells me of a team built under the guidance of head coach Buzz Williams, a coach renowned for his intense approach and emphasis on character building, that tried to develop and demonstrate unity all season in the wake of a difficult season.

Aggies hoped for a turnaround in the 2022 season with a more experienced roster and a few key additions. The team improved greatly, competing strongly within the SEC and eyeing a place in the postseason. You could see their progress in competitive play and resilience and how many of their key players led the team on and off the court. 

Texas A&M Aggies Mens Basketball

Vanderbilt University fields a men's basketball team that competes in the Southeastern Conference as the Commodores (SEC). Memorial Gym is where the Commodores host their home games. In the early 1950s, construction began on what would become known as <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/venues/memorial-gymnasium">Memorial Gym</a>. A plaque honoring the lives lost by students and graduates during World War II is on display in the north lobby of the gymnasium.

When the gym was being built, there was a debate on campus regarding if Vanderbilt should put less emphasis on athletics in favor of academics. The gymnasium was designed to contain 9,000 spectators to compromise an expanded athletics competition and those who fought for de-emphasis. It would be easily adaptable to other uses, most prominently as a possible concert hall.

As a result, the gymnasium floor was elevated, giving it the appearance of a stage rather than a playing surface. There have been 15 times that the Commodores have competed in the <a href="https://www.ticketsonsale.com/sports/ncaa-mens-basketball-tournament">NCAA Tournament</a>. They have a combined record of 10-16 so far. Thirteen times, the Commodores have qualified for the NIT. They have a combined record of 22 wins and 12 losses. In 1990, they won the NIT.
