ATEEZ is a group of eight boys who belong to South Korea. The group is under a company called KQ Entertainment. Ateez consists of Jongho, Hongjoong, Yunho, Seonghwa, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung. They were called KQ Fellaz before they debuted. Hongjoong is the group leader. KQ Entertainment released a youtube series called “KQ Fellaz American Training.” The group choreographed and composed a song and trained at Millenium Dance Complex and Movement Lifestyle.

ATEEZ was started in 2018, and they released their debut performance video on May 18. KQ Fellaz released the final debut song of their YouTube series called “From,” which was released on July 3, 2018. On June 26, 2018, after completing their YouTube series, KQ Fellaz announced their first reality show, where they released three teasers. The second teaser was released on July 3rd, where they also announced their official name for the group “Ateez” hence, the reality show was ultimately started to be called “Code Name is Ateez.” On July 13th, the third teaser was uploaded that featured the opening title of the show, as well. The show premiered on Korean broadcasting media Mnet on July 20.

Ateez released their first studio album on October 8, 2019, called “Treasure EP.Fin: All To Action” under the label KQ Entertainment and their second studio album released recently on December 4, 2019, called “Treasure EP.Extra: Shift The Map”. This time it was under the label of Nippon Columbia.

Ateez has got massive success in a very short period while they also released a few of their extended plays including Treasure EP.1: All to Zero (October 24, 2018), Treasure EP.2: Zero to One (January 15, 2019), and Treasure EP.3: One to All (June 10, 2019).

Ateez has won several awards. A few of them are Worldwide Fan’s Choice in 2019 Mnet Asian Music Award, Best Korean Act in 2019 MTV EMA Awards, Best Performance Award in Soribada Best K-Music Awards 2019.
