Guster is an American alternative rock band. The current lineup consists of Ryan Miller, Adam Gardner, Brian Rosenworcel, and Luke Reynolds. In 1994, the band released Parachute, their debut self-titled album. The band's popularity in the '90s peaked with albums like "The Disco Biscuits," "moe.," "Phish," and "Widespread Panic," and this album solidified their place in that scene. When they recorded the album, the band was a freshman in college.

A snowfall in January 2016 in the United States forced the band to cancel their performance in Pittsburgh on their way to Philadelphia. On Saturday at 2 p.m., the band announced via Twitter that they would perform a brief set on the North Side, near Sampsonia Way and Veto Street. There were many attendees, and the band even uploaded a video on their Facebook page from the event. 

Released on Nettwerk/Ocho Mule on January 28, 2019, Look Alive is Guster's ninth studio album. The 2020 acoustic tour, which the band had planned alongside Upright Citizens Brigade's Connor Ratliff, was forced to end early because of. They enlisted the help of producer Josh Kaufman to begin recording their second album in 2021. In 2023, they started a tour in Dallas on March 17.
