Los Tucanes De Tijuana isis a Mexican norteño band thatfounded in 1987. The group originated from Tijuana, Baja California. The current lineup consists of Mario Quintero Lara (1987-present), David Jesus “Chuyito” Fabela Servín Raya (1987-present), Alfredo González González (2002-present), Gustavo Labrada Valenzuela (2002-present), and Luis Adrián Cazares Gómez (2018-present). In contrast to the traditional norteo music of northeastern Mexico, they and Los Tigres del Norte were pioneers in presenting their music in a rougher style.

Multiple awards and recognitions have been bestowed to Los Tucanes de Tijuana over their career, including a Latin Grammy in 2012 for the album 365 das, nine Lo Nuestro Award nominations, five Grammy Award nominations, nine Lo Nuestro Award nominations, and numerous BMI Awards for composer Quintero.

By achieving the Un Certain Regard Angel Film award at the Monaco International Film Festival for their involvement in the documentary Los ilegales, they became the first norteo music group to win an international film award.

They made history in 2019 when they were the first local Mexican band to play at Coachella. In addition to earning 34 gold and 30 platinum records, they have sold over 25 million albums globally.
