New Kids on the Block is an American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts. They are also known as NKOTB. The band members are Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Jonathan Knight, and Jordan Knight. Boy bands like NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Take That can trace their success back to the late '80s and '90s, when New Kids on the Block were popular. Their albums sold over 80 million copies globally.

After forming in 1984, New Kids on the Block became famous in 1989 and was ranked sixteenth on Rolling Stone's "Top 25 Teen Idol Breakout Moments." They broke up in 1994.

They reunited in 2007 to make an album, and then, in 2008, they went on tour. They were a member of NKOTBSB from 2010–2012 when they performed with the Backstreet Boys.

A star was bestowed upon the group in 2014 by the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Mixtape Tour, headlined by New Kids, kicked up in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 2, 2019. The tour also features performances by Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Salt-N-Pepa, and Naughty by Nature. 

"House Party" by NKOTB reached number five on Billboard's Digital Songs list in 2020 amidst the epidemic. Boyz II Men, Big Freedia, Jordin Sparks, and Naughty by Nature were all included in the song. 

With guest appearances from Rick Astley, En Vogue, and Salt-N-Pepa, NKOTB released the music video for "Bring Back the Time" on March 3, 2022. John Asher directed the video, which mocks music videos from the 1980s, such as "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey.
