Tyler Marenyi (October 11, 1990), best known by his stage name Nghtmre (stylized in all capitals and pronounced "nightmare"), is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer from Raleigh, North Carolina. He had a great time as a tennis player at North Raleigh Christian Academy. Before relocating to Los Angeles to focus on his music career, he earned a degree in finance from Elon University.

At first, he made trap and house versions of tracks by artists like Skrillex, Rae Sremmurd, and Tiësto. As time passed, he began working with different producers and making his music. His breakthrough came when Ultra Music Festival performer Skrillex sampled one of his tracks. On Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums list, his 2016 EP Nghtmre peaked.

His subsequent Mad Decent track "Need You" was a collaboration with producer Dillon Francis. Francis uploaded the song's official music video to YouTube on May 9, 2016. He released the tune "Feel Your Love" on his Circus Records label, which he co-wrote with Flux Pavilion. He released the track "Stronger" on Mad Decent with rapper Afro.
