In Guanajuato, México, Santa Fe Klan's father, Quezada, was born. He was 12 when he first started hanging out with hip-hop's elite. Ultimately, his work with Lupillo Rivera, Alemán, and the legendary rap artist Snoop Dogg on the song "Grandes Ligas" brought him to prominence. Over 144,000,000 people have watched the music video on YouTube so far. Santa Fe Klan was chosen as the voice of the Latin Youth and a finalist in MIDEM's "Talent Accelerator" in 2020.

Santa Fe Klan's 2021 album Santa Cumbia fused regional Mexican rhythms with cumbia, and the result was a huge success. Earlier that same year, Santa Fe Klan teamed up with Calibre 50 and Beto Sierra to release "Cuidando el Territorio," which quickly went viral and amassed millions of views.
