Eilleen Regina Shania Twain Edwards (August 28, 1965) is a songwriter, singer, and actress. She was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She started singing at a young age.
On February 7, 1995, Twain released "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?". It was the first song on the record. It reached No. 11 on the Billboard Country Chart. This was followed by "Any Man of Mine," her first Country Top 10 and No. 1 song, also making it into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Twain had more hits from the album, including the title track, which reached No. 14, and three No. 1 hits, which were used as the original music for the 1996 movie Twister. As of 2007, more than 12 million copies of her record were sold in the U.S., so the RIAA gave it the Diamond Award.
In 2023, Queen of Me was her first album with her new record label. The album opened at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It sold 38,000 equivalent album units, of which 34,000 were album sales, making it her sixth top-ten album in the country.

She was on Anne-Marie's future album's title track, "Unhealthy," which came out as a single on May 18, 2023. The song reached number 18 on the U.K. Singles Chart and was Twain's first top-20 hit in the region since "Party for Two" in December 2004.
