The Beach Boys is a rock band with the current lineup of Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Bruce Johnston. Surfin' Safari, the Beach Boys' debut album, was released in the fall of 1962. Unlike most other rock albums of the period, it was nearly exclusively composed of songs written by Brian, Mike Love, and their buddy Gary Usher, making it stand out. The Beach Boys' long string of very successful recordings began in January 1963 with the recording of their first top-ten hit, "Surfin' U.S.A."

California Music Presents Add Some Music, an album including Love, Jardine, Marks, Johnston, and other offspring of the original Beach Boys, was published by Omnivore Recordings in April 2021. Feel Flows: The Sunflower & Surf's Up Sessions, 1969–1971, was released by Capitol in August as a box set. They were supposed to have a "60th anniversary celebration" in 2022.

The "Grammys Salute" series of television tribute concerts, of which Azoff spoke in 2021, was officially announced in January 2023. Recognition to the Beach Boys at the Grammys was taped in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, on February 8 - three days after the 2023 Grammy award ceremonies - and shown as a 2-hour special on CBS on April 9. The Beach Boys announced in July 2023 that their book, The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys, would be issued in a limited edition in 2024.
