Mardi Gras World is a tourist attraction located in the Mardi Gra capital of the world, New Orleans. It is also known as Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World (MGW). The 300,000 square foot working warehouse has Mardi Gras floats for guests to tour. The venue is situated along the Mississippi River, right beside the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. The River City Complex is an event venue at the Mardi Gras World that hosts weddings, festivals, corporate events, and private parties. The tourist attraction was originally founded in 1984 to show the visitors a behind-the-scenes look at float building.

Mardi Gras World underwent a major expansion in 2008 in which the site expanded to a second 300,000-square-foot facility. It was compared to the 80,000-square-foot original facility in Algiers, located in the former River City Casino. Mardi Gras World has also appeared on several seasons of Top Chef. During the show's finale, the five finalists arrived at Mardi Gras World to learn where Padma Lakshmi hosted them. They appeared there to learn their elimination challenge from the host. The Algiers warehouse was the site of the season’s kitchen in Top Chef: New Orleans, whereas the Halloween party hosted by Lea Michele was organized at the River City Complex. The venue was also the selected site for the final task of The Amazing Race 32.
