The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is located at 361 Symphony Park Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Its ground was broken on May 26, 2009. The venue was built through 2009-2012 and opened for the general public on March 10, 2012. The center has a seating capacity of around 2,050 people. It is operated and managed by President and CEO Myron Martin. The architecture of the venue was designed by David M. Schwarz, which is based on Neo Art Deco modification with a construction cost of approx $470 million. This Performing Arts Center serves as the residence to Las Vegas Philharmonic and Nevada Ballet Theatre. There are three theatres in two buildings side by side divided according to the seating capacity; the first one is Reynolds Hall, which is the biggest venue of all along with Myron Cabaret Jazz that seats 240 and the Troesh Studio Theatre seats 250. The theater is among the first performing arts center of the country, which was Gold Leed certified. It was proclaimed as the new residence to the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum.
