McLane Stadium is an American football stadium that is located in Waco, Texas. The venue broke ground on September 15, 2012, and it opened for the public in August 2014. The construction cost of the project was $266 million. The stadium is owned and operated by Baylor University. It has a seating capacity of 45,140 and features a Matric Turf surface. Populous design the architecture of the building. The stadium was originally named Baylor Stadium. It was given its current name in December 2013 to honor Drayton McLane Jr., who was Baylor alumnus and business magnate. He is well-known for providing fundraising campaigns for the stadium’s construction.

McLane Stadium was built as a replacement for Floyd Casey Stadium. It serves as the home field to the Baylor Bears football program. The first college football game played at the stadium was a 45–0 Baylor win over SMU. The game was played in August 2014. The venue also hosts concerts and other community events in addition to sporting events. It hosted The Gathering, which is a local gathering of churches on Palm Sunday. The stadium is also best known for featuring Baylor Club. It is a dining and event space that is situated on the west side of the facility.

One of the few major college football stadiums fans love to visit by boat, McLane Stadium contains 39 suites, 6,700 total student seats, 1,200 outdoor club seats, 74 lodge boxes, and 3,000 seats for the Baylor Line< student group. The stadium also features a giant high-definition LED video board.
