Austin FC at Real Salt Lake
America First Field is a state-of-the-art sports facility and concert venue located at 92566 South, State Street, Sandy Utah. The stadium has a seating capacity of about 20,213, which can be expanded to over 25,000 for concerts. It opened to the general public on October 9, 2008. The total construction cost was nearly $110 million for the building. Dell Lou Hansen is the owner and operator of Tinto Stadium. Rossetti Architects designed the ultra-advanced architecture of the stadium. The stadium underwent a major renovation in the year 2018, with a total cost of $128 million.
America First Field serves as home to the Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake and National Women's Soccer League Club Utah Royal FC. It also served as home to the XFINITY High School Football Challenge since 2011.
The stadium hosts soccer matches, football matches, rugby, lacrosse, motorsports, and line up of world-class concerts. MLS All-Star Game 2009, CONCACAF Champion League Finals 2011, Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Finals 2013, CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship 2015, Playoff Games in RSL, Zion's Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl, and USA Rugby Championship 2011 are some of the notable sports event hosted at America First Field. The famous singers and bands who performed at the stadium include The Eagles, KISS, Journey, Neil Diamond, Paul McCartney, and Jason Aldean.
