The Cure Insurance Arena is located at 81 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey, United States. The arena was opened on October 6, 1999. It has a seating capacity of around 10,500 in total for the venue whereas a separate seating capacity of 7,605 for Ice Hockey, 8,600 for Basketball, and 8,500 for Concerts is available. The Cure Insurance Arena is owned by the Mercer County Improvement Authority and operated by Global Spectrum. The architecture of the building was done by Sink Combs Dethlefs and Vitetta Group. This is also popular as the largest arena which is located in Central New Jersey.

When the place was opened on October 6, 1999, the World Wrestling Entertainment event was the opening show. The arena has hosted over 1200 shows and events since its inauguration and has served the sold-out shows of Elton John, Cher, Shania Twain, Bruce Springsteen, Keith Urban, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber. The naming-rights of the Cure Insurance Arena were sold to the Sun National Bank for seven years on November 13, 2009. Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was also held in the venue in 2000 and 2001. The arena also hosted the first and second rounds of NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament in 2006.
