SeatGeek Stadium, previously known as Toyota Park, is a soccer-specific stadium located at 71st Street, 7000 South Harlem Avenue Bridgeview, Illinois. Its ground was shattered on November 30, 2004, and opened for the general public on June 11, 2006. The venue has a seating capacity of around 20,000 people for soccer and 28,000 for concerts. The stadium is owned by the Village of Bridgeview and operated by Spectra. The architecture of the venue was designed by Rossetti Architects, with a construction cost of $98 million.
SeatGeek Stadium stadium has been serving residence to the Chicago Fire from 2006, Chicago Red Stars (from 2009-2010) 2016 till present, and Roosevelt University Lakers men’s and women’s soccer from 2010-present. Some of the main tenets of the stadium include Chicago Bliss from 2011-2012, 2015-2017, Chicago Machine from 2007-2009, and Northwestern Wildcats men’s and women’s soccer in 2015.
Mainly soccer and rugby games are played at the stadium. Notable music events hosted by the venue are Chicago radio station B96’s annual summer concert, The B96 Pepsi Summer Bash since 2006, The Crossroads Guitar Festival on July 28, 2007 and June 26, 2010, a 3-day All-Electronic music festival, Future Sound Dance Music Festival in May 2013, The Chicago Open Air Festival, a 3-day Rock Festival in July 2016, and a few more.
