Arizona Stadium is an outdoor stadium situated on the campus of the University of Arizona. The stadium is precisely located at 545 N National Champion Drive, Tucson, Arizona. It was open to the general public on October 12, 1929, with a construction cost of $166,888. It underwent renovation in the year 2013 and many expansions in the years 1938, 1947, 1950, 1965, 1976, 1988, 1990, and 2011–2013. It has a current seating capacity of 55,675 people along with 23 luxury suites. The stadium is under the ownership and operated by the University of Arizona. Arizona Stadium is architectured by Roy Place. It serves home to the Arizona Wildcats of the Pac-12 Conference along with the Arizona Bowl (NCAA). The venue includes Wildcat football program office, some non-athletic academic offices, and the Steward Observatory Mirror Lab. The video board installed at the venue in 2011 is the seventh-largest among college football and sixth largest if non-college-exclusive stadiums are not counted.
The record-attendance held at the stadium was 59,920 on November 23, 1996, which was against the Arizona State team. The first game played at the stadium was on October 12, 1929, against the Caltech (Wildcats defeated Caltech). The Copper Bowl (now known as the Cactus Bowl) was a Tucson based bowl game that held at the venue for ten years. The stadium also played host to the university’s spring commencement ceremonies in May 2013 for the first time. It also plays host to the Arizona Bowl since 2015.

Apart from sports, Arizona Stadium also hosts concerts, including a Jay-Z concert with Kelly Clarkson in 2009 and Fleetwood Mac in 1977. The stadium’s parking lot was used as one of the several filming locations for the film Revenge of the Nerds (the 20th Century Fox comedy).
