Cincinnati Open - Session 14 (Third Round)

The Lindner Family Tennis Center is a facility located in Mason, Ohio. The venue broke ground in 1979 and officially opened for the public the same year. The estimated cost of the facility is $35 million. The venue serves as the home field to the Western & Southern Open. It is under the ownership of Tennis for Charity, Inc. The notable permanent four grounds at the tennis facility are Grandstand Court, Court 3, Center Court, and Court 10. The seating capacity of the entire venue is distributed as 11,435 (Center Court), 5,000 (Grandstand Court), 4,000 (Court #3), and 2,000 (Court #10).

The name of the Lindner Family Tennis Center was selected in honor of the family of a former tournament sponsor named Carl Lindner, Jr., who was also a Cincinnati financier. The architecture of the building was completed by Browning Day. The facility underwent a major renovation from 2009- 2010. The Lindner Family Tennis Center has undergone expansions continuously since 1979. In 2012, a food court and exhibit areas were added to the facility as an expansion, and the northern entrance was enhanced.

The Lindner Family Tennis Center hosts the Ohio Athletic Conference Tennis Championships and the Atlantic 10 Conference Tennis Championships. It also served as a host to the Association of Volleyball Professionals Cincinnati professionals sand volleyball tournament. Many special events occur at the facility, such as Hospice of Cincinnati's annual fundraising event, concerts, and several national and regional high school tennis tournaments.
