WinStar World Casino and Resort, previously named as WinStar Casinos, is a tribal casino and hotel which is located at 777 Casino Avenue, Thackerville, Oklahoma. The casino was open to the general public in 2003. The casino’s Global Event Center seats 3,500 people at a time. There are 1495 rooms in the WinStar World Casino distributed accordingly; 1395 rooms in main casino complex and 100 rooms in The Inn at WinStar. The venue is owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation. Larry E. Seitz designed the architecture of the casino. The theater underwent renovation in 2009 up to now. It is one of the world’s largest casino with over 7,400 electronic games in the casino; a 55-table poker room, Racer’s off-track betting, high lightroom, keno, and bingo. There are 99 table games played at the casino such as; Blackjack, Mississippi stud, Baccarat, Poker, Ultimate Texas hold’em, etc. Inside the poker room, there is a restaurant named Red River Grill.

The Global Event Center has been residence to some of the notable world-known talents including Jay Leno, Vince Gill, Adam Lambert, Weezer, Lil Wayne, ZZ Top, Maroon 5, Kid Rock, Tony Bennett and Davy Jones who performed his final concert at the casino on February 19, 2012. At the grand opening celebration of the 395-room hotel tower, famous artists made their appearances named Kelly Clarkson and the band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
