The Warfield Theater is a music venue which is located at 982 Market Street, San Francisco, California. The concert hall was opened to the general public on May 13, 1922. The Warfield Theater is under the ownership of David Addington and is operated by Goldenvoice. The remarkable music system of the Warfield makes it a perfect music venue. The venue has a seating capacity of 2,300 people at a time.

The Warfield Theater is a famous place for hosting musical events and concerts. The venue was home to the Grateful Dead who performed 15 sold-out shows. The outstanding performances played at the Warfield include Louis Armstrong, Al Jolson, and Charlie Chaplin. About 14 and 12 shows of Bob Dylan's Gospel and A Musical Retrospective Tour were performed at the venue in 1979 and 1980, giving the Warfield a new life. The concert hall also hosted the performance of Guns N' Roses on May 9, 1991. "War at the Warfield" was a home video recorded at the Warfield Theater by a thrash metal band, the Slayer in 2001. Other notable performances include Green Day, The Killers, and the Dream Theater.
