Selland Arena is a multi-purpose arena situated at 700 M Street, Fresco, California. It was officially opened for the general public on October 11, 1966, with a construction cost of $10 million. The venue is named after the former Fresno mayor Arthur L. Selland. The seating capacity of the venue is around 10,132. The Selland Arena serves home to the Fresno Monsters junior ice hockey team of the Western States Hockey League. It is owned by the City of Fresno and operated by SMG. The architecture of the venue is designed by Robert W. Stevens & Associates. The arena has hosted 32 home games. In November 2006, the venue underwent an additional $15 million renovation, which included the installation of message boards, a new video replay scoreboard, new seats, and a new ice-cooling system for hockey games. Selland Arena’s features include the Largest general admission floor in the region (certified 3,000), an Ice floor, nine dressing rooms with showers, VIP seating accessible for patrons and visitors with disabilities, press facilities, and numerous setups are also available for varying stage and seating configurations.

Some notable events held at the Selland Arena include WWF Royal Rumble 1996, Grateful Dead show, Deep Purple Concert, Tina Turner Concert, and some other concerts by many rock and popular music groups. The Selland Arena has also hosted ice shows, conventions, motocross, professional sports, youth sports, rodeo, community events, graduations, and religious events.
