Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, previously the Charleston Civic Center, opened in 1959 with a budget of $2.5 million, is a municipal located at 200 Civic Center Drive, Charleston, West Virginia. When it opened its gates for people in 1959, it came with a seating capacity of 6000, along with extra 750 seats for "Little Theatre." However, with time, due to its tremendous popularity among people, the seating capacity was increased. Now it can accommodate 11,519 for an end gate concert and 13,600 people for the Round show. It comes with a lot of other distinctive features and is widely used for annual events and fairs during the whole year.

Moreover, people can enjoy sports events, fishing shows, Auto shows, and spectacular proms of many different schools. Additionally, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals are also held here of the Mountain East Conference postseason tournament, which is held annually. You'll also see the annual commencement of West Virginia State University here.

It takes pride in being a place where a lot of famous international artists and bands have been regularly performing.
