Marquee Theatre, also known as Red River Opry, is a concert and theatre auditorium located at North Mill Avenue, Tempe, Arizona. The theatre has a seating capacity of approximately 1,500. It was open to the general public on January 22, 1993, but later closed in 2001. It reopened on March 21, 2003, after undergoing some significant renovations. Currently, it is owned and operated by Lucky Man Concerts. The theatre is popular with the students of nearby Arizona State University.
It hosts a variety of music concert genres and other musical events providing entertainment to all age groups. The Rogues, Adele, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Kongos, Katy Perry, The Meat Puppets, Al Di Meola, Neon Trees, American Musical Club, Muse, Kings of Leon, Angels and Airways, Nine Inch Nails, Panic at The Disco, Barenaked Ladies, Peter Beckett, Prince, Sarah McLachlan, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Riders in the Sky, David Wilcox, Sia, Skip Ewing, Dark Star Orchestra, The Wizards of Winters, Suicide Girl, Bo Diddley, Glen Campbell, Herbie Hancock, Lil Mosey, Tori Kelly, and Sammy Johnson are some the famous performers who held the stage at Marquee Theatre.
Tickets can be purchased for any upcoming events at Marquee Theatre Tempe from the box office on Monday through Friday; from 12.00 pm to 6.00 pm (timing may vary on Sunday). You can also buy tickets online at TicketsOnSale.com and avail discounted prices.
