Missouri State Bears at New Mexico State Aggies Football

Aggie Memorial Stadium is an outdoor football stadium that is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The stadium is exactly situated on the campus of New Mexico State University. The venue broke ground in March 1977 and opened for the local public on September 16, 1978. It is owned and operated by the New Mexico State University. The total construction cost of the entire project was $4 million. The architecture of the building is done by Craig Protz of Bohening-Protz Associates along with Caudill Rowlett Scott of Houston, Consultants. It has a seating capacity of 30,343 and a UBU Sports Speed S5-M synthetic turf (2014–present). The stadium serves as the home field to the FBS independent New Mexico State Aggies and Onate High School and Centennial High School teams. Formerly it was the home to NM State Aggies women's soccer.

Aggie Memorial Stadium was dedicated to alumni who had served in the Vietnam War and the Korean War. The first game played at the facility saw the Aggies defeat rival UTEP 35–32 on September 16, 1978. The stadium has undergone many expansions and renovations since its inception. During the 2007 renovation, a new $1.5 million scoreboard accompanied by a 38'x23' video screen was added to the venue. Also, a new team meeting and video room complex was built on the north end of the stadium.

Aggie Memorial Stadium is known for hosting major concerts and other large outdoor gatherings on campus, in addition to football. Some of the notable artists who have performed at the stadium include The Eagles, Vans Warped Tour & Paul McCartney, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Faith No More.
