Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor sport and athletic stadium located within the campus of Boise State University at 1400 Bronco Lane, Boise, Idaho. It has a seating capacity of approximately 36,390. The stadium was first to open on September 11, 1970, with a construction cost of $2.3 million. Currently, Boise State University owns and operates the stadium. Sink Combs Dethlefs designed the architecture of the venue. The stadium has undergone some significant renovations and expansions in the year 1997, 2009, and 2012. The stadium serves home to the Boise State University Football Team along with Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (NCAA). It is popular for its stunning blue playing surface, which became famous as the " Blue Plastic Tundra" by Chris Berman of ESPN along with "The Blue" and " Smurf Turf."

The stadium hosts different sports events majorly football matches, soccer matches, yoga, and athletic events. It has recently been added as a concert venue, too, with the first-ever concert performed by Garth Brooks in July 2019. It also hosts the Annual Idaho Potato Bowl, which is the longest-running outdoor bowl game in the cold-weather venue. The Boise State University Football Team had played against Portland State University of Football, BYU Cougars, Utah State, San Diego State, Colorado State, New Mexico, and Nevada at the Stadium.
