Oregon Ducks at Purdue Boilermakers Mens Basketball (Date TBD)

Mackey Arena is part of the Purdue University campus located in West Lafayette, Indiana. The venue serves as the home to the university's basketball teams. It was formerly known as Purdue Arena (1967–72). The arena broke ground in July 1965 and opened for the public on December 2, 1967. The total construction cost of the building was $6 million (1967). Walter Scholer designs the building, and Associates Inc. Mackey Arena architect has a seating capacity of 14,804. The venue is owned and operated by Purdue University. It also hosts home games for the volleyball and wrestling teams on occasion.

Mackey Arena was given its current name in honor of longtime athletic director and Purdue alumnus Guy "Red" Mackey, replacing Lambert Fieldhouse. Its floor was renamed to Keady Court on December 12, 1997, in honor of longtime men's coach Gene Keady. The arena is circular, and it is known as one of the loudest arenas in the nation because of the domed aluminum roof. In recent years, the arena underwent many upgrades and improvements such as 2003 - Lower press row reconstructed, 2007-2012 - Mackey Complex Project, 2004 - Sound system installed, and 2005 - Playing surface refinished.
