Autzen Stadium is an outdoor football stadium which is located at 2727 Leo Harris Parkway, Eugene, Oregon, U.S. This venue is under the ownership of Oregon Docks and is operated by the University of Oregon. This stadium was opened in 1967 and has undergone many expansions. The seating capacity is 54,000 officially with an extending attendance usually. The standing room in the stadium is about 60,000. The stadium is designed by Skidmore, Merril, and Owings. It is named after the philanthropist, Thomas J. Autzen. The theatre hosts marching band competitions, musical concerts, football camps, coach's clinics, etc. The Autzen Stadium hosts the Civil War Games alternating with the Reser stadium. It was expanded in 2002 with a $90 million facelift along with minor additions and changes till 2014. The highest attendance that was recorded at the stadium was 60,055 on 15th October 2011.
It is very well-known for its crowd noise and being the largest arena for sports in the Oregon. It was declared as the loudest stadium by the Lloyd Carr ( Michigan Coach).
