Located in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Heinz Hall is a concert hall and art center. It is home to the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, and Home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO). It hosts 200 performances every year. The seating capacity of this hall is 2676. It has a magnificent lobby with Venetian ceiling, marble staircase, massive ornamental columns, bronze and crystal chandeliers, and silk drapes.

Built-in 1927, it was known as Lowe’s Penn Theatre. In 1971, it was renamed as Heinz Hall. It has hosted many concerts and events. In 2003, a concert in the memory of the Pittsburgh native Fred Rogers was hosted here after his death. In 2004, the local musicians with Bruce Springsteen hosted a Flood aid concert. On October 1, 2004, it hosted Vote for Change Tour on in which James Taylor and The Dixie Chicks performed.

In 1995, Marvin Hamlisch led a four-part pops concert. Heinz Hall was also seen in the movie Bob Roberts, which was directed by Tim Robbins in 1991. It is an integral part of the Pittsburgh art. Along with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Phish guitarist, Trey Anastasio, performed his compositions in 2012.
