Rutgers Scarlet Knights at UCLA Bruins Mens Basketball (Date TBD)

Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion is an indoor arena that is located in Los Angeles, California. The venue is commonly known as Pauley Pavilion. The arena broke ground in January 1964 and opened to the public on June 11, 1965. The total construction cost of the project was $5 million. The arena is under the ownership of the Regents of the University of California and is operated by the University of California, Los Angeles. The current seating capacity of the venue is 13,800. Welton Becket designed the architecture of the building. The arena serves as the home to the UCLA Bruins men's and women's basketball teams. Also, the men's and women's volleyball and women's gymnastics use the venue.

Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion’s building was dedicated in June 1965. It was named for the University of California Regent Edwin W. Pauley, who donated almost one-fifth of the $5 million construction cost. The venue underwent a major renovation in 2010-12. It was reopened in November 2012, and the opening was accompanied by a men's basketball game against Indiana State. The arena is known for featuring 1,307 permanent theater-style upholstered seats. It has space available for three full-sized basketball courts when the floor seats are retracted. The arena floor is given "Nell and John Wooden Court" in honor of John Wooden, former UCLA Men's Basketball Coach, and his beloved wife, Nell.

Some of the historical events that took place at the Pauley Pavilion include the first NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship (1981), 1978 AIAW Women's Basketball Championship Final Four, 1987 Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament, 1987 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship, 1992 MTV Video Music Awards, 2001 Jeopardy! College Championship, 2008 VH1 Rock Honors ceremony, and Nickelodeon's annual Kids' Choice Sports.
