Newport Music Hall is a music venue that is located in Columbus, Ohio. The venue was originally built in 1923 as a movie theater. It first opened for the local public on December 21, 1924. It was formerly named State Theater and Agora Ballroom. The music hall is under the ownership of PromoWest Productions. It has a seating capacity of 1700, with a total capacity of 2000. This live music venue is declared as the "America's Longest Continually Running Rock Club." The venue is also the oldest one that still features its original décor. In the past, the music hall used to host indoor as well as outdoor events.

Newport Music Hall was the last American venue John Lee Hooker performed before meeting his unfortunate death in 2001. PromoWest Productions purchased the music venue in 1984. Exactly situated next to the campus of the Ohio State University, the live music venue perfectly maintains and preserves the legacy of its past and present performers and its historical ballroom architecture. The music hall hosts around 150,000 guests on an annual basis. It is now one of the most popular rock clubs around the nation.

Some of the notable artists and acts that graced the stage at the Newport Music Hall include Devo, The Ramones, Chris Issak, Neil Young, Reo Speedwagon, James Brown, B.B. King, Todd Rundgren, Ted Nugent, The Monkees, Jay Leno, Billy Ocean, Bad Company, Morris Day, Melissa Etheridge, George Thorogood, Bo Diddley, Quiet Riot, Pearl Jam, and Alice Cooper.
