The Offspring
Toyota Pavilion, now known as The Pavilion, is an outdoor amphitheater which is located at Montage Mountain Road, Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Pavilion has a seating capacity of 16,000 people at a time. It opened for the general public on 24 June 2000 with a concert performed by Harry Connick. Lenart Architecture designed the Pavilion. The latest renovation completed in 2007. Currently, it is under the ownership of the Lackawanna County Performing Arts Center Authority. The Pavilion is operated and managed by Live Nation. The Pavilion is built at the bottom of the mountain and every summer it hosts some of the biggest concerts.
The Pavilion also hosts a variety of other entertainment events like music festivals, stage shows, jobs fair and much more. The famous bands that performed at The Pavilion include Slipknot, Slayer, Sevendust, Sepultura, Hed PE, Mudvayne, Cold, Downset, Hatebreed, Full Devil Jacket, God Forbid, Darkest Hour, Third Eye Blind and many others. The Pavilion hosts a yearly Peach Music Festival. Other musical festivals include Anger Management Tour, Crüe Fest, Crüe Fest 2, H.O?R?D.E Festival, Lilith Fair, Lollapalooza, Mayhem Festival, Up in Smoke, Uproar Festival, Vans Warped and several more.
