AT&T Stadium, which was formerly known as, “Cowboys Stadium” is located at 1 AT&T Way, Arlington, Texas, United States. It was opened for the public on May 27, 2009. The stadium has a retractable roof installed. It serves as the home venue of Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL), The Cotton Bowl Classic, and Big 12 Championship Game. This venue is owned by the City of Arlington and operated by the Dallas Cowboys. The place has a seating capacity of around 80,000 people, which is expandable to 105,000 people at a time. The record attendance was in 2009 during the NFL game where the audience attended the stadium of around 105,121. It enjoys “Jerry World” and “Death Star” as nicknames.
The venue can be used for rodeos, motocross, college and high school football contests, basketball games, and concerts. From 1971 to 2008, Texas Stadium was the home of Cowboys which was later replaced by AT&T Stadium. The venue has the 29th largest high definition screen in the world.
Some of the major events held on this stadium were NBA All-Star Weekend that took place on February 14, 2010, Cotton Bowl Classic games, Advocare Classic, World Championship boxing games, WrestleMania 32 (2016), and the Super Bowl.
