Reser Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium located at the Oregon State University, 2600 SW Western Blvd, Corvallis, Oregon. It serves as a home field to the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12 Conference. The venue opened to the general public on November 14, 1953, with a construction cost of around US$1 million. It has a seating capacity of about 43,154 people. The stadium is owned and operated by the Oregon State University. Moffatt, Nichol & Taylor designed the architecture of the stadium. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations and expansion projects. The north end zone of the stadium serves home to the Valley Football Center, which houses offices and meeting facilities for coaches.
Reser Stadium hosted its inaugural game on November 14, 1953, when Oregon State Beavers defeated Washington State by a score of 7-0. The highest attendance record of 47,249 fans was set at the stadium on November 24, 2012, in a game between Oregon and OSU. In addition to football, the facility is occasionally used by club sports and intramural. The venue is also used for non-athletic events such as commencement ceremonies. This has allowed the venue to host notable speakers such as former First Lady Michelle Obama and astronaut John Glenn. Famous singers such as Jesse McCartney and Akon performed in an annual music festival, Dam Jam, on May 31, 2019.
