The official announcement for the initial construction for Highmark Stadium was made on January 10, 2012. ThenDesign Architecture, Inc was tasked with designing the architect of the stadium. Highmark Stadium’s construction was estimated to be completed by summer 2012, with approximately $7 million financed by private investors and a few corporate sponsors.
