The Ryman Auditorium, which was formerly known as Grand Ole Opry House and Union Gospel Tabernacle, is located at 116 Fifth Avenue N, Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The arena opened the doors to the public in 1892. The place has a seating capacity of around 2,362 people at a time. The Ryman Auditorium went through its renovations in the years 1901, 1952, 1989, 1994, 2010 and its expansion took place in the years 1897, 1994, and 2015. It is owned by the Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. and is operated by the Concert Hall Theatre, Broadcast Venue. The construction of the place was spearheaded by Thomas Ryman. Hugh Cathcart Thompson was the one who designed the architect of this project.

The venue has hosted some jazz, bluegrass, classical, folk, rap, country, pop, gospel, rock concerts, musical theater, and stand-up comedy. Through 1968-1973, the Ryman Auditorium hosted and live broadcasted Country Music Association Awards. Josh Turner recorded his live album at this venue in April 2006. Also, Coldplay released their limited edition autographed poster at the Ryman during their performance. The auditorium was the home to the Grand Ole Opry from the year 1943-1974.
