Mountain America Stadium is an outdoor football stadium located at 500 East Veterans Way, Tempe, Arizona. It is under the ownership of Arizona State University and operated by the same. The stadium opened to the general public on October 4, 1958, with a construction cost of $1 million (original stadium). It underwent renovations in 2015–2019 (5 years renovation program) and expansion in the years 1966, 1970, 1976, 1977, and 1989. Edward L. Varney Associates designed the architecture of the stadium. Mountain America Stadium is a home field for the Arizona State Sun Devils football team of the Pac-12 Conference. The natural grass playing surface in the Mountain America Stadium was named the Frank Kush Field in 1996 in honor of the former coach of the Sun Devil football team. Due to this, the venue name changed to Mountain America Stadium, Frank Kush Field, from Mountain America Stadium. There is a Coca-Cola Sun Deck, a small standing room only concert venue, located on the north side of the stadium. Mountain America Stadium also serves host to concerts, yoga, community events, movie nights, etc. The record attendance was seated for the Fiesta Bowl, where the Tennessee Volunteers beat the Florida State Seminoles on January 4, 1999, which was 80,470.

The very first game played at the stadium was Arizona State vs. West Texas State on October 4, 1958. It also hosted the Fiesta Bowl from 1971 to 2006. The venue also hosted the Cactus Bowl (formerly called the Buffalo Wild Wings, Insight, and Copper Bowl) since 2006. In 1975, the first professional football game played in the stadium was a National Football League (NFL) preseason game, New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings. The Mountain America Stadium also served host to Super Bowl XXX in 1996, Monday Night Football game, etc. It also appeared in some famous films like Jerry Maguire, Rattle and Hum, Let's Spend the Night Together, Used Cars, and a few more.
