Budweiser Gardens is the largest sports and entertainment center which is located at 99 Dundas Street, London, Ontario, Canada. This center was formerly known as the John Labatt Centre until 2012. It was opened on 11th October 2002 and is under the ownership of the London Civic Centre Corporation while operated by Global Spectrum. The seating capacity of this Centre is 10,200 (Centre stage concert), 9,036 (Hockey), 9,000 (End Stage concert), 3,200 (theatre mode), and 2,800 (theater mode with proscenium). The sports-entertainment Centre features 1,100 club seats and 38 luxury suites. In addition to this, the arena has 55% more public washrooms than the actual requirement. The architectural designing for this venue is done by Brisbin Brook Beynon Architects (BBB Architects).
The name to this Centre was changed from John Labatt Centre to the Budweiser Gardens in 2012 (fall). It is home to London Lightning (London's National Basketball League of Canada team) since 2011. This arena can also be used to set-up touring Broadway shows, small concerts, etc. The arena was honored by the London Knights championship season (2004-2005) within a few years of its inauguration. It also hosted the 2014 Memorial Cup, 2005 Memorial Cup, Living Proof: The Farewell Tour concert, etc. The hosting was also done for some family entertainment events such as Monster Jam, Stars on Ice, etc.
Budweiser Gardens hosted the Juno Awards on 17th MARCH, 2019. It was awarded as the Canadian Venue of the year in 2010.
