The Norva is the most popular music venue which is located at 317 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, Virginia. It was inaugurated on 27th November 1922. The concert hall has a seating capacity of 1,500 people at a time. It is under the ownership of Anschutz Entertainment Group and Operated by the W.W.V. (Wells, Wilmer, and Vincent) Co., Inc. Johnson Construction Company designed the architecture of this historic concert venue. It features a great sound system, lighting, and extensive utilities for special effects.

The Man Who Saw Tomorrow and Bright Eyes were the two first films hosted in The Norva in November 1922. In 2000, it was revived as a theater, this time for music instead of movies. Today, the venue hosts multi-generational concerts. Famous hip hop bands and singers including The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Everything, G Love & Special Sauce, Evanescence, Flaming Lips, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, Willie Nelson, James Brown, Prince, and Kendrick Lamar have all performed at the venue. In 2014, The Rising Church started its debut in the concert hall every Sunday for worship. The 2019 concerts held in The Norva were by Built To Spill, Justin Townes Earle, Lagwagon with Face To Face, X Ambassadors, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Billy Strings, and Ganja White Night.
