Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort is a hotel and casino located on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, North Carolina. The venue is owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and operated by Caesars Entertainment. The site is considered one of two casinos in North Carolina. The venue opened for the public on September 28, 2015. It has three hotel towers named the Mountain Tower, Soco Tower, and Creek Tower. The hotel towers have 1,108 rooms in total, making it the largest hotel in North Carolina.

Cherokee Casino regularly hosts World Series of Poker circuit events in the Events Center that feature various concurrent cash games and tournaments. Cherokee Resort also has a complex that includes a 15,000 square foot conference center and an events center that has a seating capacity of 3,000. BRIO Tuscan Grille, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Chef’s Stage Buffet, a food court, a lobby café, a workout room, and the Essence Lounge are also located here.

Harrah’s complex has an indoor pool that is open year-round. There are 24 lanes for bowling, among which 16 are standard, and 8 are VIP style. In 2012, the casino at Cherokee resort began introducing live table games. There are more than 100 table games and a non-smoking poker room that has 20 tables. The tribe also approved alcohol sales at the casino on June 5, 2009. Some notable restaurants at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort include Earl of Sandwich, UNO Pizza, and Selu Garden Café.
