The Hargray Capitol Theatre is a venue in downtown Macon, Georgia. Since its inception, the venue was formerly known as the Cox Capitol Theatre and has served as a live entertainment venue. The Cox was converted to a movie theatre in 1917. Before that, a Strong Shoe Company resided at the venue since 1900. The Capitol Theatre became the first public venue in 1917 that offered air conditioning. The theatre closed in 1975 and reopened in 2006 as a concert venue and movie house. Hargray Communications became the new venue sponsor for The Capitol Theatre on January 5, 2018.

The Hargray Capitol Theatre went through a $1.2 million renovation to restore the Cox Theatre thanks to the efforts of Tony Long, a man who had a vision for downtown Macon, Georgia. The theatre plays its role in supporting events that will continue the rock n roll music legacy of Macon, Georgia. The largest event held at the Hargray Capitol Theatre was the Bragg Jam Music Festival. The venue also serves as a rental space for events such as fundraising, parties, and receptions.

The venue has an open floor plan on the bottom level. The second level features a balcony that has a seating capacity of 297. With this, the facility has a seating capacity of 650. In April 2006, the Capitol availed the donation of $300,000 by Cox Communications to sponsor a lighted theatre marquee. Operations of the theatre took over by the Moonhanger Group in 2013.
