Built with a seating capacity of 1,400people, House of blues inaugurated on October 1, 1996. Bertrand Goldberg designed the architecture of the venue. It is under the ownership of Live Nation Entertainment. The foundation room, located on the fourth floor, is an exclusive club for entertainment at the venue. The four-story building is comprised of three distinctive environments, including a rocking restaurant, a VIP lounge, a bar featuring traditional and contemporary Southern art along with a spectacular multi-story music hall.
