The Rave, previously named as the Eagles Club, Central Park Athletic Club, and Entertainment Center (normally Central Park Ballroom), is a concert venue and landmark. It is located at 2401 W Wisconsin Ave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The concert hall ground was shattered way back on April 16, 1925. The club was built in 1926 and opened to the general public on September 13, 1927, with a construction cost of $1.25 million. The club has a seating capacity of 3,500 people in Eagles Ballroom, 1,500 in Rave Hall, 500 in Rave Bar, and 352 in Eagles Hall. The architecture of the club was designed by Russell Barr Williamson based on 19th and 20th Century Revival. The club was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 29, 1986. The venue is divided into four components; Eagles Ballroom (which is the largest of all), Rave Hall, Rave Bar, and Eagles Hall.
Several notable acts and performances played at The Rave/Eagles Club include acts like Bob Dylan (performed six times here), Weezer, The Killers, The Offspring (performed nine times), The Grateful Dead, The White Stripes, Fugazi, Green Day, Bad Religion (performed five times), The Replacements, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Kesha, Lil Pump, Jonas Brothers, 21 Savage, and many others.
Currently, the Rave Eagles Grand Ballroom hosts combat sports promotions, North American Fighting Championship MMA, and Knockout Kings Kickboxing.
