Hammons Field is a baseball stadium located in Springfield, Missouri. Currently, the venue has a seating capacity of around 7,986, where approximately 2,500 general admission seating is available. The venue is owned and operated by John Q. Hammons Industries. Hammons Field opened for the local public on April 2, 2004. The architect of the stadium was designed by Pellham Phillips Architects & Engineers. The entire facility was funded by a local businessman, benefactor, and hotel mogul, John Q. Hammons. He is also the centerpiece of a midtown development project called Jordan Valley Park on Sherman Avenue and Trafficway. The venue has been named as one of the most beautiful minor league stadiums in the country.

Currently, Hammons Field has two large buildings outside the right-field walls. Out of these two, the larger facility is a fully furnished indoor practice facility with a small diamond for drills, batting cages, and astroturf. The venue’s small buildings serve as an administration block that includes clubhouses for home teams, cardio workout facility, physical trainer’s office, and General Manager offices.

There are 28 furnished luxury box suits where 25 suits are on the luxury box suite level. The suit level also has a VIP Lounge as well as an executive kitchen. Hammons Field boasts a large high-definition video board, one of the largest in Minor League Baseball. Hammons Field hosted the Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Tournament in 2004, 2007, and 2012. Spring Cardinals moved to the stadium in 2005, and since then, they have enjoyed some of the highest fan attendance during the minor league.
