Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheater built into a rock structure and situated at 17598 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO. The seating capacity of the venue is around 9,525, with a uniquely located stage surrounded by incredible red rocks. The theatre was built and opened for the general public in 1906. The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver. The architecture of the venue is designed by Burnham Hoyt. The amphitheater has undergone some major renovations since its opening (first renovated in 1936, then April 2019). Red Rocks offers a variety of recreation options for a summer concert series, biking, hiking, dining, shopping, and guided tours. At 6,450 feet above sea level, Red Rocks' diverse environment allows visitors to see plants, birds, and animals of both regions.

The first documented performance at the venue was the Grand Opening of the Garden of the Titans, put on by famed editor John Brisben Walker on May 31, 1906. Red Rocks has been a popular venue for live recordings. During the 1970s and 80s, local folk-rocker John Denver recorded several world televised concerts at Red Rocks. The amphitheater has also appeared in many films and television shows such as The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, Reality show; The Amazing Race 9, episode of South Park, Don't Let Me Fall (Music Video), and The Simpsons in the Season 26 episode, "Covercraft."

You can get your tickets for the upcoming events at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre from the official box office of the venue that opens only on the show days at various hours. To get your tickets online at a discounted rate, visit TicketsOnSale.com now.
