The Fillmore in Miami Beach is an auditorium and a concert venue. It is formerly known as the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium. The concert hall is located at Washington Ave, Miami Beach, Florida. It opened to the general public on October 1, 1958. The venue has a seating capacity of about 3,230 people at a time. The Fillmore is under the ownership of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. Live Nation operates the venue. The architecture of the concert hall was designed by the architects named Russell T. Pan coast, Henry Hohauser and Lawrence Murray Dixon.
The Fillmore gained instant popularity and served as a home to a variety of television shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, The Dick Clark Show, and The Jackie Gleason Show.
