The Dos Equis Pavilion is formerly known as the Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre. It is an outdoor amphitheater located 3839 S Fitzhugh Avenue, Dallas, Texas, United States. The amphitheater was opened to the general public on July 23, 1988, with an opening concert by Rod Stewart and a construction cost of $10 million. It has a seating capacity of around 20,000 people at a time. The place is owned by the City of Dallas and operated by Live Nation.
It was known as Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre until 1998. Later it was known as the Starplex Amphitheatre. In 2008, the naming rights of this amphitheater were sold to Superpages.com, and the arena got renamed as Superpages.com Center until 2011. In 2011, it again got renamed to Gexa Energy Pavilion, Starplex Amphitheatre, in 2017, and finally, in April 2018 the venue got renamed to its current name “Dos Equis Pavilion.”
The arena has hosted multiple shows and events to entertain its audience. Some big-name artists of their times have performed in this arena such as Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Jackson Browne, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffet, and many other famous artists have honored this venue with their unique performances.
