The Broadmoor World Arena is a multi-purpose arena and an entertainment venue. It is formerly known as the Colorado Springs World Arena. The venue is located at 3185 Venetucci Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO. The World Arena opened to the general public on January 16, 1998, with a construction cost of $58.8 million. It has a seating capacity of approximately 8,000. HOK sports designed the architecture of the arena. The arena is under the ownership of CSWA and is operated by AEG. The venue serves as a home field to the Colorado College Tigers men’s ice hockey team of the NCHC, numerous Elite Figure Skaters, the Broadmoor Skating Club, and the Colorado Gold Speed Skating Club. It also served as a former home to the US National Short Track Speed Skating Team until 2007.

The Broadmoor World Arena hosts several events, world-class concerts, family shows, sporting events, comedy shows, and other events. Some of the popular ones are Disney On Ice, Cirque Du Soleil, The Original Harlem Globetrotters, National, and international Skating Competitions. The Broadmoor World Arena hosted the Skate America 1999, 2000, and 2001 editions. The World Arena also manages the Pikes Peak Center, which is a performing arts center, located in downtown Colorado Springs.
