The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre is a LEED Silver certified indoor arena on the University of British Columbia campus in Greater Vancouver. The sports center was formerly known as UBC Winter Sports Centre. Also known as UBC Thunderbird Arena, the venue is just outside Vancouver, British Columbia. The arena broke ground in April 2006 and opened for the public on July 7, 2008, designed by Kasian Architecture. The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre serves as a home to the UBC Thunderbirds men's and women's ice hockey teams. UBC Thunderbirds (U Sports) are the former tenants.

The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre's current seating capacity for ice hockey is 7,500, and for concerts, 8,000. The facility was built around an older ice hockey venue known as the historic Father Bauer Arena. The center was renamed in honor of Doug Mitchell, a UBC alumnus, lawyer, and professional sports leader.

The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre was used for ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics and in the 2010 Winter Paralympics for sled hockey. The arena served in Canada's first-round draw against France (February 2012) in the Davis Cup and in February and April 2013. Some of the other notable events in this arena are Sodagreen - Meet again World Tour 2015, A-Mei - Utopia World Tour 2016, and Joker Xue - Skyscraper World Tour 2018.
