Canvas Stadium, also known as Sonny Lubick, is an outdoor multi-purpose stadium located within the campus of Colorado State University at 751 W Pitkin St, Fort Collins, CO. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 41,000 people. It opened to the general public on August 5, 2017, with the opening match between Rams and Oregon State. Canvas Stadium is owned and operated by Colorado State University. The stadium is magnificent and mesmerizing, embracing the natural beauty of Colorado with visual connections to the Rocky Mountains from the campus. Populous and ICON Venue Group designed its beautiful architecture based upon modern aesthetic blending with surrounding campus architecture. Canvas Stadium is the home field of Colorado State University Rams of the Mountain West Conference. The stadium aims to host football matches, volleyball matches, basketball matches, corporate events, holiday parties, concerts, weddings, and other public events. The stadium provides functionality on both game day and non-game day. It received the Overall Design Award in 2018. CSU Rams had played against Utah State, Wyoming, New Mexico, Illinois, and Arkansas at Canvas Stadium. It also hosted the Community Open House.
