Etess Arena is a former name to Hard rock live which is located at 1000 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is a multi-purpose arena that was initially built as a part of the Trump Taj Mahal. It has a seating capacity of 7,000 people. The venue is under the ownership of Hard Rock Entertainment and is operated by the same.
The Arena opened to the general public on April 28, 1990, and underwent major renovations in the year 2017-18. It was named after the former president and COO of Trump Plaza who died in a helicopter crash (October 1989) named, Mark Grossinger Etess. The venue was designed in a club scene in England. After the renovations, it became a part of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
The first concert that was performed in this arena was by Elton John on May 18, 1990. Donald trump debated to have Madonna as the opener performer of the venue during the time of her Blond Ambition World Tour but plans failed.
