The Vic Theatre is a musical theatre previously named as the Victoria Theatre. It is located at 3145 N. Sheffield Ave, Chicago, Illinois. The theatre was open to the general public in 1912 with a construction cost of $300,000. The venue has a seating capacity of 1,400 people. Jam Productions own the theatre. J.E.O Pridmore designed the architecture of the concert hall. The Vic Theatre underwent renovation in 1983.

Several notable performances along with world-renowned talents made appearances at the theatre including The Residents on February 7, 1986, The Replacements on April 11, 1986, Trouble Funk Red Hot Chili Peppers Beastie Boys on January 4, 1987, Wilcoattested Kicking Television live in Chicago in May 2005, etc. In addition to the aforementioned shows Ween attested a DVD and a CD of their three-night run in 2003, Gymboree taped their home video Parachute Express live in concert in 1989, Pete Correale’s stand-up special ‘’Let Me Tell Ya’’ got attested in May 2015, Eliza Shlesinger’s stand-up Netflix special Confirmed Kills got filmed on April 23, 2016. Also, Ariana Grande performed at the Vic for her ‘’Sweetener Sessions’’ mini-tour to celebrate her new album ‘’Sweetener’’ on August 22, 2018.
